Planned Parenthood & NOW Will Not Allow Obama to Speak for Chen

Chen Guangcheng with his wife and baby.

A blind man sees more than an election.  A blind man sees more than polls and PAC dollars, Hollywood bundlers, and the New York Times.  A blind man sees Life.

A blind man will dangle in China because there is absolutely no way the Dowagers who operate America's abortion mills and buy politicians like Louis Vutton accessories are going to allow their White House to do anything to help the blind Chinese hero who sought sanctuary in the U.S. Embassy after fighting Planned Parenthood's model government in Red China.

This man is destined to be collateral damage in the Progressive War on Life.  President Obama chose sides years ago right here in Illinois, which is not yet as Progressive as Red China.

President Obama is Planned Parenthood's investment in government.  They paid cash money money to help bring this compliant and wildly ambitious man into the White House.  Get ready for every excuse short of Kathleen Sebelius is busy.

Chen Guangcheng will dangle.

Chen Guangcheng is a heroic man:

A blind, self-educated lawyer who brought down the wrath of Chinese security agencies by campaigning against forced abortions and sterilizations, he spent four years in prison and additional time under house arrest. That ended when he managed to escape under cover of darkness and, with help from confederates, made his way to Beijing, more than 300 miles away. He then reportedly went to theU.S. Embassy and was granted shelter. . . .Most gruesome is family planning agencies' practice of dragging pregnant women out of their homes to have their fetuses destroyed, as part of the government's long-standing one-child policy. Forced abortions have occurred as late as nine months into a pregnancy.

The victims may also have IUDs inserted without their consent to prevent future pregnancies. The advocacy group All Girls Allowed says these atrocities help explain why China is the only nation on Earth where women are more likely to commit suicide than are men.

Chen's crime was to publicize this savagery by filing a class-action lawsuit on behalf of women subjected to it. He was jailed for more than four years for "disturbing public order" and upon his release, he and his family were placed under strict house arrest, deprived of visitors.

Given this record, it would be unconscionable for President Barack Obama to agree to surrender Chen to the Chinese without ironclad guarantees of his (and his family's) freedom and safety — assurances that the Chinese would be loath to give. Chen, for his part, is said to prefer to stay in China.

He'll stay to be sure.

Hilary Clinton and Tim Geitner are in Red China to ask for more loans in order to "invest" here at home.  The Obama White House owes Planned Parenthood and takes loans from the Progressive Red Chinese.

President Obama can order the Navy Seals to take out Bin Laden, but he will dance to Planned Parenthood's symphony of slaughter.

President Obama is a celebrity, but no hero.

Mr. Chen Guangcheng has more balls than a bowling alley; President Obama can't bowl.

China Mocks Fat Americans - NYT 's Lefty Friedman Agrees

Are you with me Doctor Wu
Are you really just a shadow
Of the man that I once knew
Are you crazy are you high
Or just an ordinary guy
Have you done all you can do
Are you with me Doctor

Steely Dan - Katy Lied

I'll sing a little ditty, which
I trust you'll not think flat.
Of a fine fat saucy Chinaman
Who lives on Ballarat,
Whose pigtail is wound round his nut
In a tremendous plait,
And who wears on most occasions
A mushroom-looking hat.

Like a fine fat saucy Chinaman,
One of the present time.

Lefties love Red China. SEIU Mandarins Andy Stern and Anna Burger made many trips to Red China before supporting Barack Obama for President. President Obama bowed to the Red Chinese Leaders - read not too much into that, Obama bowed to every tin-horn despot he encountered - Saudi Princes & etc.

America would be nothing without our home grown America Haters - Henry Wallace, Roger Baldwin, W.E.B. Dubois, Margaret Sanger, Jane Fonda, Noam Chomsky, Billy Ayers, and too many talented writers like Tom Friedman. Tom of the New York Times a frequent nodder on MSNBC - nod with conviction, mind you - is worried about American lard asses and our ability to remain a 1st rate Nation.

Hell, I worry about my own lard loaves reaching critical mass and thus necessitating a skateboard affixed to the afore mentioned appendages, in or to convey said properties over the concrete without tearing up the fabric. America will be fine.

Empirically speaking, I watched a bunch of kids in my neighborhood sprinting to St. Cajetan, St. John Fisher and St. Barnabas grammar school football practice. Likewise, this old geezer promenaded the Chicago Loop - Metra to La Salle; a brisk amble to St. Pete's for a lap around the rosary, off the knees and on the dogs to Lake Street and down Michigan to Adams and Adams west to The Berghoff. I had Knockwurst appetizer of two small Knocks, German Spuds and Creamed spinach and Berghoff root beer(s). Then back to the Metra and the mile and change to Casa Hickey on 108th Street. Heart Healthy! Moving like a Natural Man! Lord Ha' Mercy!

Now, I am by no means svelt; nor is Tom Friedman - looks like his skeletal frame ain't exactly sheet rocked with muscle and sinew - his own self.
Thus -

To visit China today as an American is to compare and to be compared. And from the very opening session of this year’s World Economic Forum here in Tianjin, our Chinese hosts did not hesitate to do some comparing. China’s CCTV aired a skit showing four children — one wearing the Chinese flag, another the American, another the Indian, and another the Brazilian — getting ready to run a race. Before they take off, the American child, “Anthony,” boasts that he will win “because I always win,” and he jumps out to a big lead. But soon Anthony doubles over with cramps. “Now is our chance to overtake him for the first time!” shouts the Chinese child. “What’s wrong with Anthony?” asks another. “He is overweight and flabby,” says another child. “He ate too many hamburgers.”

That is how they see us.

For the U.S. visitor, the comparisons start from the moment one departs Beijing’s South Station, a giant space-age building, and boards the bullet train to Tianjin. It takes just 25 minutes to make the 75-mile trip. In Tianjin, one arrives at another ultramodern train station — where, unlike New York City’s Pennsylvania Station, all the escalators actually work. From there, you drive to the Tianjin Meijiang Convention Center, a building so gigantic and well appointed that if it were in Washington, D.C., it would be a tourist site. Your hosts inform you: “It was built in nine months.”

I know, I know. With enough cheap currency, labor and capital — and authoritarianism — you can build anything in nine months. Still, it gets your attention. Some of my Chinese friends chide me for overidealizing China. I tell them: “Guilty as charged.” But have no illusions. I am not praising China because I want to emulate their system. I am praising it because I am worried about my system. In deliberately spotlighting China’s impressive growth engine, I am hoping to light a spark under America.

Studying China’s ability to invest for the future doesn’t make me feel we have the wrong system. It makes me feel that we are abusing our right system. There is absolutely no reason our democracy should not be able to generate the kind of focus, legitimacy, unity and stick-to-it-iveness to do big things — democratically — that China does autocratically. We’ve done it before. But we’re not doing it now because too many of our poll-driven, toxically partisan, cable-TV-addicted, money-corrupted political class are more interested in what keeps them in power than what would again make America powerful, more interested in defeating each other than saving the country.

President Obama's Debt Czar Andy Stern and his 2007 Trip to Red China

2010 President Obama names the President of largest tax salaried organization in America to his debt/deficit reduction commission. Andy Stern is called a labor leader by the corporate media. Real labor engages in good-faith collective bargaining - Andy Stern euses coercion, threats and intimidation with the cover of the corporate media ( ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC & etc.).

Andy Stern, I believe is a Marxist and one who will do any thing and everything to amass power via politics. Andy Stern will direct this commission and push through a Value Added Tax - like in socialist Europe.

I admire American Labor - real Labor. Andy Stern is the single greatest threat to American Labor and the American Middle Class.

Andy took many trips to America's debtor nation Red China.

2007 -

U.S. News and Workd Report:

Q. In May you visited China. Since your union members are service workers who aren't threatened by outsourcing, why bother?

A. Because our employers are all in China. So, the largest security and food service companies in the world are moving to China. Wal-Mart is in China. They are not directly our union's employers, but obviously we have a lot of interest there, and we're very helpful on working with the Chinese on organizing. We go there because our employers have gone there, and what we learned in the U.S. is that as employers get larger, we're less able to affect their behavior. As they grow globally, we begin to think more globally as well. China is the mother lode for American corporations.

Q. What came out of the trip?

A. This is my sixth trip to China. I first went in 2002. This is sort of a continuation of trying to understand China. I met with our employers in China and their unions. The last time we were there, we did a seminar on organizing. We had some exchanges. They come here and we go there. So we've learned a lot from how [Chinese unions] do their work, and they've learned a lot about how to do grass-roots work.

Historically, when they were representing people in state-owned companies, they had a lot more interaction with the government. Now that they have private employers, they are not familiar with organizing from the bottom up instead of with the employer and party.

Q. Why should your members pay dues to improve the condition of Chinese workers?

A. Workers who work for the same employers, whether they are in our country or around the world, are much stronger when they work together. The largest employer in Africa is a security company who owns Wackenhut in the U.S. We have been unable to get Wackenhut to respect workers' rights because they are a very small part of a very big company. So now we joined together with other unions to deal with Group 4 Securicor, which owns Wackenhut, to try to put pressure on them to respect workers in the U.S. but also respect workers' rights in Africa, Poland, and Asia, and other places around the world.

Despite the fact there are geographical borders, our employers are global and we don't have the strength when we are just in our country. When we represent a small number of employees in a large corporation, we can't influence [its] behavior. We're on the verge of having global unions. Capital and trade and companies have gone global–how come unions shouldn't be global? It doesn't make sense for the workers.

Andy , go global by all means, but leave America alone.

Obama Policy of "Strategic Reassurance" - China will not rub his belly.

"Dubbed "strategic reassurance," the policy aims to convince the Chinese that the United States has no intention of containing their rising power. Details remain to be seen, but as with the Russia "reset," it is bound to make American allies nervous." NEWSWEEK

In keeping with this new, humbler U.S. profile, Obama is going to Asia with very little to offer and everything to ask. His every movement and talking point in China will be shadowed by the knowledge that the United States desperately needs Beijing to keep buying U.S. debt (of course the Chinese also need U.S. growth to resume quickly so they can keep exporting). He will do little to press President Hu Jintao on human rights or climate change, even with the Copenhagen summit looming. With no legislation on carbon emissions likely from Congress—Obama tends to defer to the Hill on everything from health care to financial reform to climate change—in Copenhagen the administration's goals have been reduced to "not letting it fail," as one Western official put it. In Japan and South Korea, Obama will have nothing new to offer on what those two countries consider thehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif preeminent security threat, North Korea.
NEWSWEEK

Newsweek has a tone less than flattering of David Brooks' favorite Pants-Crease President? Newsweek going Rogue, on President Obama?

Newsweek home of MSNBC hack Jonathon Alter, who stretches every New Deal trope from his swell book about FDR into an Obama belly Rub?

This worm has done turned, Murial.

President Obama is about to bow to his sensai - the next one up!

America is defending Japan from China and North Korea and let's toss in Russia as well.

The Marines have been stationed on Okinawa since Japan surrendered - through the Cold War, Korea, and our continuing war with Islamist Fascism - which President Obama refuses to acknowledge at home and especially abroad. Japan's Prime Minister Hatoyama wanted a Marine Air Base moved out of Okinawa as well as the planned transfer of 9,000 Marines to Guam -"During the election campaign, especially to the Okinawans, I've stated that we would consider relocation outside of Okinawa and outside of the country," Hatoyama said. "It is a fact that we did campaign on this issue, and the Okinawans do have high expectations."

"It will be a very difficult issue for sure, but as time goes by, I think it will become even more difficult to resolve the issue. Especially the residents in the Futenma district will find it even more difficult to resolve the issue as time goes by." Guam NewsFactor, com

President Obama's Strategy of Reassurance is directed toward America's Rivals - particularly China and Russia -and not its Allies.

President Obama has dithered on his war in Afghanistan and all this point to his policy of retreat from there as well as Iraq.

President Obama's Justice Department decided to put America on trial in New York City with the idiotic show trials of 9-11 Terrorist that will draw and quarter America's War on Terrorism that ended in January 2009.

President Obama's Strategy of Reassurance is a policy that every friendly, timid and fawning puppy plays out on its back.

Here its is

For decades, U.S. strategy toward China has had two complementary elements. The first was to bring China into the "family of nations" through engagement. The second was to make sure China did not become too dominant, through balancing. The Clinton administration pushed for China's accession to the World Trade Organization and normalized trade but also strengthened the U.S. military alliance with Japan. The Bush administration fostered close economic ties and improved strategic cooperation with China. But the United States also forged a strategic partnership with India and enhanced its relations with Japan, Singapore and Vietnam. The strategy has been to give China a greater stake in peace, while maintaining a balance of power in the region favorable to democratic allies and American interests.

"Strategic reassurance" seems to chart a different course. Senior officials liken the policy to the British accommodation of a rising United States at the end of the 19th century, which entailed ceding the Western Hemisphere to American hegemony. Lingering behind this concept is an assumption of America's inevitable decline.

Yet nothing would do more to hasten decline than to follow this path. The British accommodation of America's rise was based on close ideological kinship. British leaders recognized the United States as a strategic ally in a dangerous world -- as proved true throughout the 20th century. No serious person would imagine a similar grand alliance and "special relationship" between an autocratic China and a democratic United States. For the Chinese -- true realists -- the competition with the United States in East Asia is very much a zero-sum game.

For that reason, "strategic reassurance" is likely to fail. The Obama administration cannot back out of the region any time soon; Obama's trip this week, in fact, seems designed to demonstrate American staying power. Nor is China likely to end or slow its efforts to militarily and economically dominate the region. So it will quickly become obvious that no one on either side feels reassured.

President Obama wants the world to know that the Bush Years are over and so are the FDR,Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, and WW Bush years.

The Carter Years are here, again! God help America and our friends.

Obama's Brass Going to China- Where is the American Economy Going?

This tip came from Mary Ann Roti - Unbelieveable Change

And so it continues . . .

Georgia Arms is the 5th largest retailer of .223 Ammo in America . They sell 9mm, .45, ..223 ammunition. They normally buy spent brass from the US Department of Defense. Spent brass is "one time used" shell cases used by our Military for training purposes.
They buy the brass, recondition it, and then reload the brass for resale to Law Enforcement, Gun Clubs, Gun Shops, and stores like Wal-Mart. They normally buy 30,000 lbs of spent brass at a time.
This week the DoD wrote a letter to the owner of Georgia Arms and informed him that from now on the DoD will be destroying the spent brass, shredding it. It will no longer be available to the ammo makers, unless they buy it in a scrap shredded condition (which they have no use for). The shredded brass is now going to be sold by the DoD to China as scrap metal, after the DoD pays for it to be shredded.. The DoD is selling the brass to China for less money than the ammo makers have been paying, plus the DoD has to pay to have the brass shredded and do the accounting paperwork.
This sure helps the economy now doesn't it? Sell cheaper to China , and do not sell at all to a proven US business. Any hidden agenda working here? Obama going after the Firearms Industry and our ammunition!!
The Georgia Arms owner even related a story that one of his competitors had already purchased a load of brass last week. The DoD contacted him this week and said they were sending someone over to make sure it was destroyed. Shell cases he had already bought!
The brass has no value to the ammo maker if it is destroyed/shredded/melted. The ammo manufacturer only uses the empty brass cases to reload different calibers, mainly 223 bullets.
The owner of Georgia Arms says that he will have to lay off at least half of his 60 workers, within 2-3 months if the DoD will no longer sell spent brass cases to the industry. Georgia Arms has 2-3 months of inventory to use, by summer they're out.
If the Reloading Industry has to purchase new manufacture brass cases, then the cost of ammunition will double or even triple, plus Obama want to add a 500% tax on each shell.
Hope for Change!

John McCain: McCain Admonishes China Over Tibet Outrages

STATEMENT BY JOHN MCCAIN ON TIBET

For Immediate Release
Contact: Press Office

Tuesday, March 18, 2008
703-650-5550

ARLINGTON , VA -- U.S. Senator John McCain today issued the following statement on the situation in Tibet :

"The unfolding tragedy in Tibet should draw the attention of the entire world. I deplore the violent crackdown by Chinese authorities and the continuing oppression in Tibet of those merely wishing to practice their faith and preserve their culture and heritage. I have listened carefully to the Dalai Lama and am convinced he is a man of peace who reflects the hopes and aspirations of Tibetans. I urge the government of the People's Republic of China to address the root causes of unrest in Tibet by opening a genuine dialogue with His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. Reports of shutting down YouTube and confiscation of SIM cards are disturbing and reports of multiple deaths are far more so, especially in a year when China is preparing to host the Olympic Games. I urge the Chinese authorities to ensure peaceful protest is not met with violence, to release monks and others detained for peacefully expressing their views and to allow full outside access to Tibet ."
