How Un-Evolved of Me! Loping the Mule is Not Love for Evolved

Image result for sin of onan
The Sin of Onan - past time of both genders and a few more.

You ladies all of merry England
Who have been to kiss the Duchess's hand,
Pray, did you not lately observe in the show
A noble Italian called Signor Dildo? ...
A rabble of pricks who were welcomed before,
Now finding the porter denied them the door,
Maliciously waited his coming below
And inhumanly fell on Signor Dildo ... Sir John Wilmot 17th Century Libertine

I have been told that I need to work on my filters.   Especially when I speak to people beyond the pale of my blue collar Catholic parish, where marriages largely remain intact, kids grow up and become useful citizens and weirdos are generally seen for what they happen to be.

Gay people are married and live happily together. Some with adopted children who are happy that someone houses, feeds, provides and most of all loves them.  That is a good thing.  Fact of the matter is those folks choose not to live in my neck-of-the-Dan Ryan Woods.  This appears to be hetero-marriage world.  I am sure that are gay couples here in the 19th Ward, I know more than few gay singles, here and about who work at the County Building, City Hall and at the Criminal Courts, who grew up in Tommy More, Little Flower, St. Dennis and Ethelreda parishes with us who chose not to marry at this time.  They are great people who would be as welcome as they are without spouses, because they are great people.

That said, and I said it many times,   Marriage is meant for a man and a woman. Way back in 2011, Illinois passed the Civil Unions Ordinance which did not confer on couples the terms 'spouses,'husbands, and 'wives.'  That was handled by Gov. Pat Quinn, the Paul Simon Insitute Polls and our elected officials on November 20, 2013.  Evolution sure has sped up some!

The legislation has yet to change the simple fact that the Yin and Yang of gender remains at play and no matter how much two gals, or two guys love one another the laws of biology discovered by Fr. Gregor Mendel, O.S.A. remain in play:

1) The Law of Segregation: Each inherited trait is defined by a gene pair. Parental genes are randomly separated to the sex cells so that sex cells contain only one gene of the pair. Offspring therefore inherit one genetic allele from each parent when sex cells unite in fertilization.
2) The Law of Independent Assortment: Genes for different traits are sorted separately from one another so that the inheritance of one trait is not dependent on the inheritance of another.
3) The Law of Dominance: An organism with alternate forms of a gene will express the form that is dominant.
The genetic experiments Mendel did with pea plants took him eight years (1856-1863) and he published his results in 1865. During this time, Mendel grew over 10,000 pea plants, keeping track of progeny number and type. Mendel's work and his Laws of Inheritance were not appreciated in his time. It wasn't until 1900, after the rediscovery of his Laws, that his experimental results were understood.
We are people;not peas!  Got it.

When gender became as unnecessary to the political culture world, it became of paramount necessity to the litigious high priests of moral legislation and jurisprudence.  Lawyers lawsuit the shit out of average un-evolved people of Faith and not the other way around.

When gay marriage was argued all the way from Springfield to the United States Supreme Court, people of sense and faith worried about the marriage between a man and his rooster, girl and her pet pony, an ardent swain and his melon, brothers seeking more than a Bromance, sapphic sisters setting up camp, Mormon poly-same sex partners and a Frog and her robot.

All objections were immediately peck sniffed and eyes rolled like Buddy Bomar was tossing them, by the evolved libertine libertarians who study morality on HBO.  Mark Ruffalo is cool with it; worship it.  It gets better.

In France,  a woman named Lilly wants to marry her robot.  Robot passion suppression is not new - sex toys appear in every culture. For the Ladies, The Dildo, according to the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) appears, appears mind you, to have been evolved from the smoothly carved wooden, how shall I say, tool of nautical origin.

One theory is that it originally referred to the phallus-shaped peg used to lock an oar in position on a dory (small boat). It would be inserted into a hole on the side of the boat, and is very similar in shape to the modern toy. It is possible that the sex toy takes its name from this sailing tool, which also lends its name to the town of Dildo and the nearby Dildo Island in Newfoundland, Canada.

For the Gents, the Sailor's Wife, the Mighty Mitt, the Fleshlight, or the Fifi developed in prison for the more  staunch anti-sodomy cell dwellers. The Fifi, which refers to an artificial vagina usually made by rolling a trash bag or condom inside of a towel, and using some sort of lubrication such as hand lotion. One expert said the current sex robots have a long way to go before they are appealing. Picture: Ethan Miller/Getty Images/AFP

The Robot's fiance and would-be spouse, Lilly the Frog, has science, behind her desires, of course:

University of London Computing Professor Adrian David Cheok said he believes robots will not only become common, but preferable for many people.
“It’s going to be so much easier, so much more convenient to have sex with a robot. You can have exactly what kind of sex you want. That’s going to be the future. That we will have more sex with robots and the next stage is love … we’re already seeing it.”
“Actual sex with humans may be like going to a concert. When you’re at home you can listen to Beethoven’s ninth symphony, it’s good enough and once or twice a year you’ll want to go the Royal Albert Hall and hear it in a concert hall.
That may be the way sex with humans is going to be. It’s going to be much more easier, much more convenient to have sex with a robot, and maybe much better because that’s how you want it.”
Now, Professor Adrian David Cheok is no  ordinary jagoff.  He's a scientist, no doubt a devout onanaist as well.

All of these evolved means of onanism come down to self love - Onanism. We were sex educated ( segregated from the ladies of course)  by Father Gerrity in the mysteries of self mastery and the lists of love-making outside of the sacrament of Matrimony.   Self-love ( pocket pool, boxing the Jesuit, beatin' the bishop, loping the old mule, greasing the flagpole, chuckin' the custard ) was a thoroughly vain pursuit and the Sin of Onan.

And sin we did!

However, self control and human will tempered by moral adjustments and canon law, prevented generations of hearts wanting what the heart wants from shivering our timbers 24/7.  That and exhaustion, I suppose. We  managed to fall in love, marry and procreate and then do that providing and loving for the bairns.

On the secular side of things, Planned Parenthood demands more wiggles and giggles and more penetrating productions. A gal has to make a buck.

Grabbing the gecko was not an act of love, but an imitation of sex.

Evolution is a hoot in this Anthony Weiner World of Ours!  Just maybe not all that . . .gratifying.

BBC - A Childless World is a Fullfilled, Happy, and Ever So Wonderful World!

Unevolved and unhappy family and so not cool.

Way evolved and brilliantly happy and ever so much splendid couple.

The BBC was at one time a voice of hope ecoing over the Channel to a Europe occupied by the Planned Parenthood Approved Nazi Germany.  Eugenics is meant to make the world a happier place for fewer people.  Abort defected children and people whom the 'best' people just don't like very much.
How responsible is it to have children in a world whose environmental health is already under stress? That's the question Joanna Benn poses this week in the Green Room. On the other hand, she wonders, will a couple more hungry mouths make much difference?
'I came out of my house last week and got caught up in a fleet of mothers and prams.'
Toss them pram pushing Breeders into an Open Auschwitz!  Damn their eyes!~

The BBC controls the early morning hours of American Public Radio.  Some people really a enjoy a voice right out of Downton Abbey aping idiocies into the Progressive echo chamber.  The BBC and NPR tend churn out stories about the world epidemic of Christians eating Muslims, wondrous tales of emerging nations taking their baby steps toward totalitarianism and the big chairs at the United Nations, millions of  reports of Israeli bulldozing bullies knocking down the walls of Jericho, Gaza, the Golan Heights and Palestinian Hookah shops, while Irish millionaires rent out yachts and run rockets to Hamas.  All of these is made palatable via the pipes of OX Bridge schooled wanker.  Not only has NPR adopted the swanky wankers from perfidious Albion, but also the cable news hillbillies at CNN and MSNBC. Piers Morgan has down his level best to sink Ted Turner's cable full of Ron Burgundies, while Martin Bashir's anal-fixations went virally toxic at the clown opera called MSNBC.

BritVox Rocks!

Me? Puts me off my feed listening to the platter of manure served up by Jeeves of Airwaves.  I listen to NPR for absurdities.  This morning's offering was a bit much for this single Dad of three, who misses his bride who died in 1998. Open University released its finding that married couples with children are too often busy raising, providing for, feeding, housing clothing, educating and hugging their spawn find less time to knick down to the local for some pintsand Cosmos, take in a U-2 Benefit concert, or experiment in depraved acts of sexual intimacies so graphically re-enacted on BBCs1-2-3 and purchased by HBO.

Childless couples 'have the happiest marriages'... but mothers are happier overall than anyone else
Study finds people without children are more satisfied with their relationships and more likely to feel valued by their partner
Women with children are happiest, and those without are least happy
By contrast, men with children are slightly less happy than those without
Open University findings based on surveys with more than 5,000 people
Here is a link as I could not find the BBC -Brit Vox's interview with Dr.Jacqui Gibbs who also found, not surprisingly, that 'non-heterosexual couples' ( I guess that would be Randy&Andy, or Mac & Sappho) were happiest.

You see; the BBC, NPR, President Obama, George Soros, Gloria Steinem, Planned Parenthood and Dr. Kermit Gosnell know that our world and the 'best people in it' are evolving to the point where this study makes absolute . . .truth.

Me?  Shoot, I still admire Ward Bond and detest abortion and all of its manifestations.. How evolved can that be.

If only that  BavarianSanger paper-hanger had the sense to hire BBC BritVoxed chappies to announce train schedules to Bergen -Belsen maybe things might have worked for 'the best people'' - Nah.

Tribune Editorial Board - Repeats the Obama Senate Gambit for Tammy Duckworth

In 2004,the Editorial Board and its Care Kid Columnists of the Chicago Tribune did more* to give Barack Obama Senator Peter Fitzgerald's seat than an army of 11th, 14th, 17th, 18th, 19th & 47th Ward City workers could do with millions of walking around dollars, Michael Shakman and all of his works consigned to the back of UPS 40' trailer bound for Nome and limitless air time on WTTW.

2004. . . Dave Axelrod, one-time kid reporter for the Chicago Tribune, went full smear with help of Northwestern disc Jockey-editor Bruce Dold had four years of practice in the editorial driver's seat.  Sealed divorce records of public people became the thermonuclear detterant to one's decision to remain in a race. Millionaire, Army vet, school teacher, philanthropist and venture capitalist ( yes, he built that life, Barry) was the road-block to Barack Obama. Tammy Duckworth Bruce Dold's editorial page and his rag-rangers went all over Blair Hull like a cheap suit, until he opened his own divorce records.

Danny Hynes ran second to Barack in the Democratic Primary because he did so with the very same enthusiasm and grit that I ran yesterday's Chicago Marathon.

Now, for the Republican Primary.  Jack Ryan, a school teacher, venture capitalist, and Chick Magnet, needed to be eliminated Bruce Dold, sent the Trib lawyers to California to have a compliant judge forcibly 'unseal' the divorce file - because the public needed to know the private life of a would be public man.

The Chicago Tribune made Barack Obama and aside from scrutiny by John Kass and Dennis Byrne and a very few others, this organ played Obama's waltz into the White House.

Today, its shameless folly is played out in its endoresemnt of Tammy Duckworth, the moveable feast for Dem-Progressives. who moves more than an old man's bowels.

2006 article: Illinois's 6th congressional district election, 2006In the 2006 election, Duckworth was the Democratic nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives seat for the 6th congressional district of Illinois which was vacated by long-time incumbent Henry Hyde. Duckworth lost to her opponent, Representative Peter Roskam, by 4,810 votes.[8][34][35]2012Main article: United States House of Representatives elections in Illinois, 2012#District 8In July 2011, Duckworth launched her campaign to run in 2012 for the re-drawn 8th congressional district of Illinois.[1] She defeated her opponent Raja Krishnamoorthi to win the Democratic nomination on March 20, 2012, and will face incumbent Republican incumbent Joe Walsh in the general election on November 6, 2012. Wikipedia

Once an election boundary  pre-drawn, Dawn Clark Netsch and Abner Mikva begin scouting real estate for Tammy Duckworth's entry into the lists.

Tammy Duckworth gave her blood and limbs in the service of America and for that deserves the honor and respect of all.

Since, her heroic recovery Tammy Duckworth has been a government appointee and frequent candidate.  No less a political reformer than Governor Rod Blagojevich appointed Duckworth to the post of Illinois Veterans Affairs Director, where she was duly criticized for using state time and vehicles to make political appearances for frequent election victim Dan Seals, another Progressive card-board cut-out.  Following some bad press, Tammy Duckworth got hereself a Federal appointment and new opportunities to run against Joe Walsh.

Tammy Duckworth's service deserves respect, but certainly not a place at the Progressive trough that is paid for by tax-payers. God bless her, but don't vote for her,

Bruce Dold's endorsement is a re-play of the Obama ascent to power and a term ending November 6th.  The editorial praises Tammy Duckworth because she is not Joe Walsh! Bruce even leads with his patented Axelroding of Tribune enemies -
Then there were the tax liens, the building foreclosure, the suspended drivers license, the court fight over child support …
It's too bad, because the Joe Walsh who showed up for our endorsement interview had a lot more to offer than the Joe Walsh whose antics are splashed all over YouTube. In a face-to-face meeting with Duckworth, he was direct, specific, and even charming.
Walsh pulled no punches about his views. He embraced the plan offered by Rep. Paul Ryan to restructure Medicare. He said he would not raise taxes, period. He said the long-term fix for Social Security is to "put younger Americans in charge of their retirement income." To achieve lower tax rates overall, he would support eliminating deductions for mortgage interest and charitable donations.
Duckworth, by contrast, was noncommittal on some key issues, and largely drew from the Democratic playbook. She said she was not ready to make major changes to either Medicare or Social Security. She would increase taxes for those earning more than $1 million a year. She'd be OK with ending the deduction for second homes and yachts.
Duckworth also said she'd cut oil, gas and agribusiness subsidies, and that better supervision of wasteful defense contracts could save $9 million a day. But Walsh is correct when he says those cuts wouldn't dent the deficit. "We have to reform entitlements, period."
Where he offered solutions, Duckworth too often offered only a promise to search for one.
That all might sound like it's leading up to an endorsement of Walsh but ... it's not.
Walsh has been a congressman made for cable television, but not for his constituents. He has fueled the political vitriol that has paralyzed Washington, that nearly shut down the federal government, that has failed to produce meaningful fiscal reform and economic recovery. We saw something in that endorsement interview — what a congressman Joe Walsh might have been.
Our endorsement in the 8th Congressional District goes to Duckworth.
Here is the tepid, shuck's she's a wounded vet endorsement -

When we supported Duckworth in a 2006 run for Congress, we said she wasn't politically polished. Unfortunately, she has since become a more-practiced politician. Practiced, that is, in not offering her opposition targets by getting too specific on solutions. We have, though, always admired her character and moxie. She risked her life for her country, and lost both legs when an Iraqi grenade struck her Blackhawk helicopter in 2004. So yes, she's a war hero, though she says that label belongs to the comrades who saved her life. She served as director of the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for three years and assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for two. We believe she will draw on all that experience to represent the district well. We hope she will challenge her own party leaders. Duckworth has the capacity to inspire, Walsh tends to antagonize. Duckworth is endorsed.
The Chicago Tribune placed a young inexperienced egoist in the U.S. Senate in 2004 and sky-rocketed that man who America fully saw in contrast to a man of ability for the first time in Denver last week.  That performance  was a Obama's A -Game, folks.  Illinois can not afford another "aint'she great" light-weight in government - We are topped off!

Pat Quinn, Sheila Simon, Jan Schakowsky, Deb Mell, Deb Shore, Mike Quigley, Forrest Claypool, Toni Preckwinkle . . .how they working out for us?
*  But Obama wouldn't have been elected to the U.S. Senate, much less president, without a few more sex scandals yet. In the 2004 Illinois Democratic Senate primary, Obama badly trailed multimillionaire Blair Hull for months. He and Michelle agreed that if he lost that race, he was out of politics. Then divorce papers revealed that Hull's wife had accused him of physically assaulting her. (Hull said he didn't want to "relitigate" his divorce.) Obama was already moving in the polls, and he had to fend off other candidates, but after the scandal he surged into the lead and won the primary. At first the general election pitted Obama against GOP Senate nominee Jack Ryan, a popular banker expected by many to win handily. Until, that is, Ryan's wife, TV actress Jeri Ryan, said her husband pressured her to accompany him to sex clubs and have sex in front of strangers. Ryan withdrew from the race and Obama cruised to victory against fringe candidate Alan Keyes. Daily Beast 2009

SEIU Stands WITH CTU While Scabbing Every Day

SEIU is a Marxist PAC.  It is responsible for not only the decline of American Labor, but also the murder of the American Middle Class that organized labor helped to make a wonder of the world after WWII.

SEIU is led by Reds in purple costumes armed with social work degrees from University of Pennsylvannia with a modest sprinkling of nurses.

SEIU own most Democratic legislators in Illinois, the Mayor of Chicago ( that is why they are allowed to sit this one out)  as well as the President of the United States who have no comment on this strike whatsoever!

SEIU is as phony as every Progressive I have ever encountered.

SEIU will cross the picket-lines.

I wonder if Bruce Springsteen will warble out a ballad about that.

Service Employees International Union Stands in Solidarity with 26,000 public school teachers, clinicians and paraprofessionals of Chicago Public Schools. The Chicago Teachers Union is calling for a better school day and adequate resources for students, as well as fair compensation and improved job security for teachers. SEIU supports the CTU if they are forced to strike; however, many of our members are contractually obligated to work in the event of a strike. SEIU members will continue to work at the schools to ensure the safety and health of Chicago’s schoolchildren as their teachers fight for their education.
Strong public schools are critical for working families in Chicago.
SEIU Illinois calls on Chicago Public Schools to prevent a strike by giving our students, schools and teachers the resources they need to succeed.
When Rahm fires the membership of CTU, SEIU will welcome their dues!

Teach, mop, dust it's all good!

 Now, that's Solidarity!

National Day of Prayer and Fasting - Mary Immaculate, Patron of the United States, Pray for Us

I am a singularly profane man. From the time that I first heard my Dad, paternal uncles and their father let flood torrents of colorful, witty, gargantuan oaths, curses, profanities and maledictions I was hooked.

After joining my cousins in baiting my Kerry-born bog man of a grandfather with accusations impugning his citizenship -"You ain't even American Grandpa!" - and other such words learned and encouraged to be dispensed at their rage-a-holic Pater from Uncles Bart, Sy and Donny, like Bog-trotter, Culchie, Turkeybird and Greenhorn, I would delight in his ripostes - " You shower of bastards! Christ Jesus Almighty, you'd put that suffering Man comfortably back up on his Cross, so you would."

Balanced to this delight in profanity was the devotion learned from the better gender of Mom, Aunts, and Granny who'd wash our mouths out with soap and shoo us off to Saturday's and Father Gerrity's confessional box and the litany of penitential prayers.

The HHS Mandate of the Obama Regime ( a genuine shower of bastards) is no surprise, but certainly not to be taken lightly.

I am spending the day in prayer and fasting. As Joe Biden once said in front of a Hot Mic - "This is a Big @#$%ing Deal."

Damn my eyes and profanity.

Anyway. I had a coffee this morning and will ingest only water and lime for next twenty four hours. BFD? I hope I so. I also plan to pray for our Religious Liberty which is under attack. Be assured, I read all the Chicago Papers, the New York Times, Salon, Mother Jones, New Republic as well as Commentary and American Standard. I read a alot, because I am useless with mitre box, saw, screw driver and pliers. Reading and writing have been the tools of my trade - teaching - and by most accounts I was pretty good at it. I am pretty well schooled in my discipline (British, American and World Lit)and up on the schools of critical theory.

That said, I am in awe of the written and spoken word. Words matter. That is why the media is pouring out vitriol on my Church. The Catholic Church is the only opposition to America's plunge off the cliff. Abortion, Infanticide and Eugenics are a Trinity of monstrous associations to horrific acts in any and all languages. That is why they are perfumed with euphemisms and false contexts.

The Obama Regime ( I call it that, because I believe the President is totally scripted) is desperate to fundamentally change America and the World. People of good will can and do disagree about politics and policies, but that is not possible these days.

Like the NLRB's totalitarian fiat to strip St. Xavier University, Chicago's oldest college founded by Catholic nuns, of its Catholic identity only last April, January's monstrous HHS Mandate is no shot over the bow of Boat of St. Peter. It is a broadside aimed at the heart of Catholic belief and religious liberty itself.

It is not about getting college kids a gross of rubbers each semester on the Federal dime, or abortifacients to confused and anchorless young ladies who believe that sex is love, it is about our freedom to believe that our earthly actions have consequences.

Religion is ridiculed, and it was so in Chaucer's, Shakepeare's and Hawthorne's time. However, English literature begins with Anglo Saxon translations of The Our Father, the devout The Dream of Rood and The Harrowing of Hell and later the wonderful medieval Morality Plays. It took a village to build a Cathedral.

It only takes neglect and ridicule to create ruins.

For one day, I will glutton not, profane only at gun point and pray. This is the least I can do and I am pretty good at doing the least.

O GOD OUR CREATOR,
from your provident hand we have received
our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
You have called us as your people and given us
the right and the duty to worship you, the only true God,
and your Son, Jesus Christ.
Through the power and working of your Holy Spirit,
you call us to live out our faith in the midst of the world,
bringing the light and the saving truth of the Gospel
to every corner of society.
We ask you to bless us
in our vigilance for the gift of religious liberty.
Give us the strength of mind and heart
to readily defend our freedoms when they are threatened;
give us courage in making our voices heard
on behalf of the rights of your Church
and the freedom of conscience of all people of faith.
Grant, we pray, O heavenly Father,
a clear and united voice to all your sons and daughters
gathered in your Church
in this decisive hour in the history of our nation,
so that, with every trial withstood
and every danger overcome—
for the sake of our children, our grandchildren,
and all who come after us—
this great land will always be “one nation, under God,
indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

As Rare as Hair on a Bowling Ball, Yet, One Can Be A Catholic Democrat and Not Planned Parenthood's Chattel

Governor Pat Quinn as seen from Above

"I find it outrageous that anyone in a position of public trust would trample on the conscience of people of religious beliefs," Ray Flynn (D) former Boston Mayor and President Clinton's Ambassador to the Vatican

I like that Ray. You mean anyone like

Illinois governor Pat Quinn, Senator Dick Durbin, or anyone endorsed by and accepting of Personal Pac's Terry Cosgrove's approval?

Ray Flynn ain't no chattel and he is a Democrat. My former State Representative Kevin Joyce was no one's chattel. Congressman Dan Lipinski (D. 3rd), my Congressman, is like Ray Flynn for the most part. Chattel* is a great word.

* Chattel (n.):Middle English chatel property, from Anglo-French

First Known Use: 14th century

1. an item of tangible movable or immovable property except real estate and things (as buildings) connected with real property

2. slave, bondman

Rainbow Sash Catholics Demand Abortion - How Catholic Is That?

The Rainbow Sash Movement outs Catholic priests who refuse them the Eucharist - e.g. A Rainbow Sash member proudly wears a Rainbow Sash indicating his/her/trans active homosexuality - an out ward sign denying any sin - up to the communion rail; if the priest refuses to offer the Body of Christ, the denied goes back to the pew and stands. However, if Father McGoalong places the wafer in the the palm or on tongue, the satisified sash wearing activist deigns to kneel.

The Rainbow Sash Catholic denies the Sacrement of Penance/Reconciliation -that is for self-loathing gays and breeders.

Our culture welcomes everyone, especially the really stupid, obnoxious, self-absorbed and pathological loud mouths. As a result, time, treasure, talent and police details must be wasted on these rare birds.

The Rainbow Sash Movement is part of a larger fabric that has nothing to do with faith, family and friendship and everything to do with politics and power.

The Rainbow Sash Movement runs counter to the Church - not only on homosexual issues, but also on the abortion industry.

The Rainbow Sash Movement(RSM) believes the time has come for the Women’s Movement and the Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender rights movements to recognize that women’s rights are Gay Rights and Gay Rights are women’s rights. “All human beings are born free and equal, in dignity and rights, it does not matter what country we live in, who our leaders are or even who we are. Because we are human we, therefore, have rights. And because we have rights governments are bound to protect them.” Hillary Clinton [as] she gave an amazing, powerful, inspired speech at the United Nations in honor of International Human Rights Day.

In that speech she was talking about lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender persons. But clearly it applies to all human beings, including women. And if only President Obama and Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius would take those words to heart and understand that a woman’s fundamental right to birth control is a human right. They need to recognize it. They don’t give it to women, women have it. They need to recognize it.

The RSM recognizes the sin of sexism and homophobia that runs rampant in the Roman Catholic Church it is time to publicly challenge our Catholic Bishops when they spout lies about both women and GLBT people.

We are concerned that the Obama’s administration fails to embrace this simple fact that all human beings have rights. His hesitancy to move beyond his evolving position on Gay Marriage and the issue of women’s health care only underlies his reelection politics over his ethical standards.

Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius in an unprecedented move has overruled a scientific evidenced-based decision of the FDA [Food and Drug Administration]. The FDA’s decision that Plan B, a particular kind of emergency contraception is safe and effective for all women, no matter what their age and should be available over the counter. That is scientific and evidenced-based decision and Sebelius overruled it purely on political grounds. The Rainbow Sash Movement believes this decision goes against not only women’s constitutional rights but also their human rights. To attack the rights of teenage girls to have access to medications that will be lifesaving is just as bad to encourage gay/lesbian suicide rates by silence. Young teenage girls have rights that must also be protected.

The Rainbow Sash Movement believes that the Hyde Amendment should be overturned by banning Medicare coverage of abortion you put the lives of poor women at risk.

For too long the Rainbow Sash Movement has been silent on this issue. Our tone and lack of attention has sometimes alienated our sisters and for that we seek forgiveness. Our new year’s resolution is that we will stand for the human dignity of all people regardless of gender or sexual orientation both inside and outside of the Church.

We particularly challenge our Theologians, and Catholic Media both progressive and conservative to stop their biased based justification for the status quo of sexism, and become the voices of challenge.

We support the efforts of the National Organization of Women and call on our Catholic Bishops in the spirit of the Gospels to Challenge both their homophobia and sexism. We especially want teenage girls to know it will get better.
from Lezgetreal.com

Rainbow Sash is Catholic . . .exactly how?

This Sunday, the Rainbow Sash Movement and the massively funded and media generated gay liberation movement will protest at Holy Name Cathedral. That is nice.

Blow them a kiss and wish them God's Blessing and Peace.

A Real Priest Tunes Up Planned Parenthood's Gov. Patsy Quinn

Illinois Governor (for now) Pat Quinn turned the keys over to Boss Terry Cosgrove. Boss Terry Cosgrove is the President of Personal PAC of Planned Parenthood. He is not the labor governor, that he campaigned as, but the pawn of Planned Parenthood and the Progressive Machine of Illinois - Cadillac Commie lawyers making millions in Pan-wrongful lawsuits ( Torture, brutality, racism and just being mean), Gay Rainbows, Public Salary PACS, Green Rangers, Dr. Quentin Young and Abner Mikva.

Pat Quinn immediately found cover when he was challenged by the Catholic Bishops of Illinois and sanctimoniously whined that he is a Christian and allowed Boss Cosgrove to control the narrative for him - The Bishops were anti-rape victim. Really? The news media said so, when Boss Cosgrove made the phone calls and terrifying Twitters.

Now, the Catholic Bishops want a sit down with Governor Christian. Let's see, $ 500,000 from Personal PAC and Boss Cosgrove's good will, or living up to the Baptism. Confirmation, and all that other hocus pocus, from the Abusers of Children . . .now, which way do you think Quinn will flop? Quinn flipped on all of the skilled trades unions, doing the Christian budget of Illinois.

The Bishops should do something better with their time - devising strategies on how not to allow the in-the-tank media to play them for saps again.

Instead, have a real priest visit Governor Christian. I suggest Father Tony Brankin of St. Odilo's Shrine of Lost Souls in Berwyn.

Father Brankin is a real priest and there are damn few of them.

Click my post title, scroll down to page 2 and read in full the parish bulletin from St. Odilo's and the musings of Father Tony Brankin with regard to the Quinn tap dances for abortion.

Quinn can't hide behind Planned Parenthood's skirts when there is real priest in the room.

Planned Parenthood's President - Drown The Baby in the Bath Water Before You Toss It Out!

(National Catholic Reporter) President Obama met with New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan without fanfare Nov. 8, the White House has confirmed.

“More Children for the Fit. Less for the Unfit.. . .Hebrews, Slavs, Catholics, and Negroes.” Margaret Sanger Planned Parenthood founder

President Obama met quietly and sans his usual fanfare with Archbishop Timothy Dolan the Head of the now robust U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops on November 8th.

President Obama is the Eugenics/Science Pope of the American Progressive Church. Archbishop Dolan is a Catholic Bishop.

Eugenics is a turn-of-the-last century neologism coined by Charlie Darwin's cousin Francis Galton fusing the Greek terms for 'Good' and 'Birth' - Eugenics ( pronounced FEW- Genics in classical Greek ironically enough).

Eugenics became all the rage. Only one writer- a Catholic convert from Unitarianism and Anglicanism - G.K. Chesterton wrote against Eugenics.

Eugenics is the making of an elite from an elite, by an elite. Margaret Sanger identified those who were not to be considered elite by race, and by perceived weaknesses of body, intellect and soul.

G. K. Chesterton has been dismissed fro the canon of literature even by Vatican II hipsters. Chesterton and his pal Hilaire Belloc are dangerous Catholic intellectuals and very fine writers. They stood up to the likes of GB Shaw, Bertrand Russell and the pan-goofy H.G. Wells quite nicely and most amicably.

Here is a telling account of Chesterton's Eugenics and Other Evils -

Only one writer wrote a book against Eugenics. G.K. Chesterton. Eugenics and Other Evils may be his most prophetic book.
Eugenics led directly to the birth control movement. All the same players were involved, such as Margaret Sanger, who was a member of the American Eugenics Society and was the editor of the Birth Control Review. The primary philosophy was trumpeted on the cover of the Birth Control Review: “More Children for the Fit. Less for the Unfit.” She made it clear whom she considered unfit:. “Hebrews, Slavs, Catholics, and Negroes.” She set up her Birth Control clinics only in their neighborhoods. She openly advocated the idea that such people should apply for official permission to have babies “as immigrants have to apply for visas.”

Why don’t we hear of this connection between Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, and Eugenics?

Two words: Adolf Hitler. He officially instituted Eugenics, leading an entire country in carrying out its principles, not only to breed what he believed to be a superior race but to eliminate everyone whom he considered to be inferior. Where did Hitler find early support for his Eugenic ideas? From Margaret Sanger and her circle. Eugenic Scientists from Nazi Germany wrote articles for Sanger’s Birth Control Review, and members of Sanger’s American Birth Control League visited Nazi Germany, sat in on sessions of the Supreme Eugenics Court, and returned with glowing reports of how the Sterilization Law was “weeding out the worst strains in the Germanic stock in a scientific and truly humanitarian way.”

After World War II, when the world learned of the horrors of the Holocaust and the death camps, the term Eugenics was utterly discredited. Margaret Sanger was quick to distance herself from Eugenics and began to emphasize Birth Control as supposedly a feminist issue. We don’t hear about Eugenics at all any more.

But unfortunately, the philosophy behind Eugenics is with us still. Generally speaking, all of the original arguments in favor of Eugenics have become the same arguments in favor of birth control, abortion, euthanasia, and even cloning.

Chesterton understood this. But he understood it in 1910 (which is when he started writing this book, which was not published till 1922). As with so many other things, Chesterton saw exactly what we see. Only he saw it long before it happened.
Eugenics, like abortion, bases all its benefits on denying an entire class of humans their humanity. With eugenics it was the “unfit,” which usually meant the poor, the weak, or simply the ethnic-types who were just having too many children. With abortion, there is a perceived benefit to someone by eliminating the weakest and most defenseless of humans: the unborn. As Chesterton says with chilling accuracy: “They seek his life in order to take it away.”

G. K. Chesterton would be in awe of our incapable handling of the Science of Death crowd.

Planned Parenthood's President Obama has be-purpled himself in the mantle of science. He is at war with the Catholic Church, but wants to make nice with Archbishop Dolan before the votes get cast. However, his trail of leadership much less complicity in the Science
is only followed by Progressives or really naive people of faith. Here is a dandy example of Obama at War -

In late September, HHS ended funding to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to help victims of trafficking, or modern-day slavery. The church group had overseen nationwide services to victims since 2006 but was denied a new grant in favor of three other groups. The bishops organization, in keeping with the church’s teachings, had refused to refer trafficking victims for contraceptives or abortion. HHS officials have said they made a policy decision to award the grants to agencies that would refer women for those services.

In recent letters to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, more than 30 Republican lawmakers said the decision was unfair to the Catholic group and might violate federal laws banning discrimination based on religion. Two of the letters are seeking internal HHS documents relating to the decision and one, sent Monday by Rep. Darrell Issa (Calif.), said his investigative committee may issue subpoenas if HHS doesn’t comply.

“We’re talking about a Catholic group with a superior track record that was pushed aside to promote the abortion agenda,” said Rep. Christopher H. Smith (N.J.), who wrote the 2000 law that triggered the U.S. government’s war on human trafficking.

HHS officials said Friday that they will respond to the letters from Congress but not through the media. Richard Sorian, the agency’s assistant secretary for public affairs, said HHS is “fully confident that the organizations best suited to provide comprehensive case management to victims of trafficking were awarded the grants for these services.”

“The health and ability of these victims to retake control over their own lives is our sole concern in awarding these grants,” he said. HHS officials have previously denied any anti-Catholic bias and said that since the mid-1990s, Catholic groups have received at least $800 million in HHS funding to provide social services, including $348 million to the bishops conference.

The dispute is one of several between the Obama administration and some Catholic groups over policy issues, including a proposed HHS mandate that private insurers provide women with contraceptives for free.

Senior HHS officials awarded the new grants to the bishops’ competitors despite a recommendation from career staffers that the Catholic group be funded based on scores by an independent review board, according to federal officials and internal department documents.

That prompted a protest from some HHS staffers, who said that the process was unfair and politicized, people familiar with the process have said.

The $4.5 million in funding was awarded to three nonprofit groups: Heartland Human Care Services, Tapestri and the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.

The applications of Tapestri and the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants had been scored significantly below the Catholic bishops’ application by the review panel, the sources said.

Sister Mary Ann Walsh, a spokeswoman for the bishops conference, said Friday that she welcomed the letters from Congress. “The more we look at this, the more concerned we are about it,” she said. “It appears the grant process was manipulated.”

One letter to Sebelius, by Republican Sens. Marco Rubio (Fla.), Roy Blunt (Mo.) and Kelly Ayotte (N.H.) and signed by 24 other senators, made a similar point. “The integrity and lawful administration of our federal grant process — particularly with respect to equal treatment of religious institutions — must not be compromised,” it said.

Planned Parenthood's President not only demands to toss out the dead babies, but drown them in bath water for openers.

I am sure that President Obama learned not to lecture Archbishop Dolan on life, health or how Catholics should vote . . .but probably not. President Obama is convinced that he knows everything.

Cosgrove and Quinn , The Christians, Hide Behind a Rape Victim

Two political mice, Governor Pat Quinn and his boss Terry Cosgrove*, have pushed a rape victim out in front of their brawl with Illinois's Catholic Bishops.

Governor Pat Quinn has revealed the full content of his character and its emptier than a politician's promise.

Terry Cosgrove, President of Planned Parenthood's Personal PAC, shoveled $ 500,000 and 'in-kind' support behind a career opportunist.

I worked to help this manneQuinn get elected Governor. God forgive me.

Since his victory Governor Pat Quinn has done everything he was told to do by every lug nut and gear in the Progressive Machine. He has been especially compliant to Boss Terry Cosgrove.

The most sickening thing about Governor Quinn's will to power is his immediate run-for-cover on every decision he makes and every bill he signs. He is now permanently hiding behind Terry Cosgrove's Personal PAC and a sad young woman who was forced by Terry Cosgrove to dive on Quinn's barbed wire with Cardinal George.

Quinn, whose approval ratings have been stuck around 30 percent, has seemed energized by the jousting with his church, describing his action as “the Christian thing to do.”

And as if recognizing the potential of a public-relations backlash for targeting a rape victim, the Catholic Conference of Illinois issued a statement Thursday that seemed to soften its focus on Goodman, though it did not name her nor contain an apology. “Our hearts go out to any victim of rape, one of the most personally violent crimes against women,” the group said.

Cardinal George and the Catholic Conference of Illinois never once mentioned rape, rape victims, or the poor woman being honored by Terry Cosgrove's abortion PAC.

Pat Quinn, who calls himself a Catholic in front of Catholic voters, stated that he is standing with the abortion happy dowagers of Planned Parenthood, because he is a Christian. Christian trumps Catholic, because Catholics do not recognize abortion or the marriage between two men, or two women. Christians are good and Catholics are mean, until the Knights of Columbus, or Chicago Catholic League All-Stars are needed to help Gov. Easter Bunny.

The Christian Quinn plays the media. The media plays everyone. However, it is Quinn appointee Terry Cosgrove who plays Quinn. Now, the Two Christians are playing the victims by pushing the previously unnamed rape victim into the news.

She said her attacker went on to college, never having faced charges for the two rapes in 1991.

When asked why she didn’t go to police back then, Goodman said, “It was like my insides were ripped out. I felt powerless, like I couldn’t do anything. It didn’t cross my mind to go to the police or go to the hospital or even be tested.”

Until last year, G?????? was not active politically. But her mother told G??????’s story to the head of Personal PAC, Terry Cosgrove, who directed nearly $500,000 in cash and services from his bipartisan organization into Quinn’s campaign.

“Terry knew about my story. He called me one day and said, ‘We’re really fighting hard because this person running against Pat Quinn feels very strongly about abortion, even in cases of incest and rape. He believes a person should not have a choice,’ ” G?????? said. “That really struck me. I’m not political, or I wasn’t very political. And he said, ‘Would you like to speak on behalf of that campaign and speak against this guy, Bill Brady?’

“I started reading up on him, and I decided OK. I wouldn’t mind representing the people who are so silent. Rape survivors are a very silent epidemic,” she said.

She appeared in a Personal PAC commercial that used only her first name. It aired shortly before the election and, along with a major phone-banking operation by Cosgrove’s organization, helped turn suburban women against Brady.

The poor woman says that the Cardinal makes her feel like a baby killer.

The Cardinal never once mentioned the woman. I sure as hell will not. I'll leave that to the two Christian heroes -Quinn and Cosgrove.

Quinn and Cosgrove are two Christians. Give me a Pagan any day.

Quinn's Boss -Terry Cosgrove

*
Fresh off of the role he played in getting Gov. Pat Quinn elected, the president/CEO of Personal PAC discussed the past, present and future with Windy City Times
Terry Cosgrove, who started off as executive director of the pro-choice organization Personal PAC in 1989, has been a tireless fighter for a women's right to choose during his entire career.

In talking with Windy City Times, he described his job as "leading the organization in carrying out its mission which is to elect pro-choice candidates." He went on to say that "what's involved in that is a lot of cheerleading and keeping everyone on the same page which is recruiting candidates and helping them run campaigns. However, I spend about 60 to 70 percent of my time fundraising." Personal PAC's website states that the organization's overall mission is to elect pro-choice candidates in a bipartisan way to state and local office in Illinois.

Polling in October showed that Bill Brady, Quinn's Republican opponent, led by 13 percent. The question is: How did Personal PAC help turn the tide to a Quinn victory? The organization did so by sending out direct-mail pieces; buying its first television ad (called "Jennie") in the organization's 21-year history (costing $200,000); placing robocalls using a voice recording of the television ad; and distributing leaflets at Metra stations throughout Chicagoland to educate voters about Brady's conservative views.

Regarding these measures, Cosgrove said, "I knew if we could get enough of those suburban women, that's where the victory was" so the television ad, robocalls and direct-mail campaign were focused on suburban women who only vote in midterm general elections and not the primaries. The television ad ran during every morning-news show; many daytime talk shows; and WGN News and CLTV all day to reach as many suburban women as possible. Brady's operatives cited these tactics as the reason for his loss more than anything else.

Cosgrove also wrote an article in October for the Huffington Post entitled "Bill Brady: The Most Anti-Woman Nominee to Every Run for Illinois Governor" (which Windy City Times also ran) that outlined where Brady stood on women's issues. Asking Cosgrove how he felt when Brady conceded he said "he felt great" since Brady would "have been a disaster" for Illinois.

Some of the other victories Personal PAC can cite in this election cycle are four out of the six Illinois Senate races and nine of the 11 Illinois House races they targeted for the General Assembly elections. Other victories include Toni Preckwinkle as Cook County board president and Jeff Tobolski's 16th District commissioner win over pro-life incumbent Tony Peraica.

So what does Cosgrove do on an average day to keep things moving forward? The day we talked to him he also had a conference call with his executive committee, a business lunch with a friend/donor, a late meeting with a potential new board member and signing a stack of letters to donors thanking them for their support. He remarked that every day is different depending on what is happening politically.

Where did his passion for the pro-choice movement come from? After being raised in suburban Morton Grove along with his parents (his father recently died), older brother and younger sister (who has two kids, a girl and a boy) he went on to the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana where he earned two masters degrees. While still in high school he got involved with political activism, more specifically, Cesar Chavez's grape boycott in the 1970s. He protested in front of a Jewel grocery store and later got arrested. Along the way he got involved in the pro-choice movement when he saw that poor women would give up purchasing groceries for their children in order to pay for their abortions since the Hyde Amendment prevents the government from funding most abortions. Since becoming involved in the pro-choice movement, Cosgrove said he hears from many individuals, including family members, who have told them their abortion stories. He said hearing women tell their stories has only caused him to fight harder since 83 percent of counties in the United States do not have abortion clinics.

Being openly gay hasn't affected his work although elected officials call him to get information and advice on LGBT issues statewide, Cosgrove said. He sees the work he does with reproductive rights going hand in hand with LGBT equality since they are both civil-rights issues. Since his organization is bipartisan he stressed the importance of getting support from both sides so significant pieces of legislation can get passed.

To date he said his most satisfying accomplishments are getting abortion services restored for poor women at Cook County Hospital, getting Quinn elected, continuing to get pro-choice candidates elected to statewide offices over the years and passing proactive reproductive health legislation. Among his many honors is receiving the Impact Award from the Chicago Foundation for Women.

As for the future, Cosgrove said he is looking forward to the re-drawing of the political map in Illinois so they can elect more pro-choice candidates and pass the Reproductive Health and Access Act in the state assembly. He also would like to get comprehensive sex education taught in the public schools so young adults will know the ways to act responsibly.

His message to the readers of Windy City Times is to "live life to the fullest because there is so much opportunity out there so reach for the top of the trees." He said that is why he is optimistic about the future for reproductive and LGBT rights even though others around him may be skeptics.

Governor Christian(Quinn) and his Mouthpiece- Personal PAC's Terry Cosgrove

People always said Pat Quinn was nice, but I had no idea just how Christian he was, until he paid off Personal PAC Boss Terry Cosgrove and $ 500,000 and "In-Kind" help from Planned Parenthood - the Abortion Industry.

Damn Christian.

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic organization that helps the unborn avoid getting their tiny skulls crushed by stressed-out Mommies and the Health care professionals and they also raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the disabled and the challenged.

But Gov. Pat Quinn is a Christian. Damn Christian.

Catholic Charities, from the historical get-go, took care of orphaned and family-challenged children and placed them with a married couple, that used to be a a man and a woman, until Pat Quinn signed the Christian Defense of Religious Liberty Act and immediately stripped Catholic Charities of any and all state funding. Christian.

Damn Christian.

Governor Damn Christian was admonished by Cardinal George and all of the Catholic bishops of Illinois for honoring Personal PAC, run by Terry Cosgrove, a lawyer, Quinn appointee, LGBTQ string-puller and Quinn spokesman. It sure looks like Governor Damn Christian turned to Terry and said, "What do I say?"

Terry handled all of the supine media and made the Bishops, Catholics, and people who just might think that an unborn child ought not have its tiny skull crushed in order to reflect a Woman's Power, or to fight crime of violence, be viewed as enirely UnChristian. Pat Quinn is a Christian -Damn Christian!

Terry Cosgrove stepped up, as he did in the election and got mems to Eric Zorn and all the Chicago media especially the Huffington Post. Here's Terry, who said yesterday that the Bishops were merely 'bent out of shape' because Bill Brady lost the election -

Personal PAC president Terry Cosgrove told the Chicago Sun-Times that the bishops have been angry ever since Quinn defeated conservative Republican Bill Brady in the gubernatorial race. The Catholic Conference threw their support behind the anti-abortion Brady during the election. Cosgrove also mentioned that Catholics are against birth control, which would reduce the number of abortions if it were more accessible in all communities.

“It’s very hypocritical for them to be so passionate about denying women the right to make this profoundly personal decision, yet they won’t do anything to lessen the need for something they see as so wrong,” Cosgrove told the Sun-Times. “The hypocrisy is so alarming.”

You got that right Terry! Goveror Christian said this, and I belive Terry wrote it for him:

"I'm going to the event to present an award to a woman who is a victim of rape, and who is a very strong advocate of helping rape victims all over our state and country, so I really think that's a proper Christian thing to do, to honor someone who's doing something that helps the community at large," Quinn said, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Governor Christian paroled a lot of rapists and thugs. One murdered a little fourteen year old girl. The Christian thing to do? Damn Christian.

If a Christian can countenance murdering a child in the womb, give me a Pagan, or a Catholic, or a Few, or a Lutheran, or a Baptist, or a Muslim anyday.

Hey, Bishops, Gov. Pat Quinn The Parser Owes Planned Parenthood Personal PAC

In a statement from the Catholic Conference of Illinois, the church leaders said Quinn had “gone beyond a political alignment with those supporting the legal right to kill children in their mothers’ wombs to rewarding those deemed most successful in this terrible work.”

Yeah, but Governor Pat Quinn owes Personal PAC Planned Parenthood. He owes Terry Cosgrove*.

The man has priorities. In fact, I am certain that Terry Cosgrove jotted out a response to the good Cardinal George and all of the other Catholic Bishops of Illinois.

This is a doozy -

Quinn's office issued a statement saying he was attending Personal PAC’s annual lunch and will present an award to a rape survivor and “preeminent advocate for victims of rape”
. . .And she keeps a neat wallet.

Rape victims? Abortion is a woman's best defense against Rape? Crimes of violence? Tell that to Kelli O'Laughlin's parents. It appears that a recently paroled Gangbanger murdered the fourteen year old during a "crime of opportunity." You gotta love that neologism for a savage doing exactly and whatever he wants to do.

This murdering savage was given his "opportunity" not via George Bush's economics but by Pat Quinn's parole carousel!

The 14-year-old girl was stabbed a week ago Thursday when she apparently interrupted a burglary at her home. Since then, dozens of officers have investigated more than 100 leads. As friends and family gathered at a visitation for the Lyons Township freshman Wednesday, ABC7 learned one of those tips apparently panned out.

Officially, authorities at the Indian Head Park Police Department are quiet. One law enforcement source tells ABC7 that the man in custody is a state parolee. Another state police source says the person being questioned is a "Chicago gang-banger." ABC7 is told he hailed a cab after the crime last Thursday, possibly from the Hinsdale oasis on the Tri-State Tollway. Another police source says dogs were able to track the man's scent to that oasis along 294, not far from Indian Head Park.
( emphasis my own)

When goofs like Quinn parse, they believe that people of good will are just too dumb to live. I guess that is why they are soo cozy to Personal PAC, Planned Parenthood and all the piles of loot they have in the hoards built with State and Federal.

Quinn says he is honoring Personal PAC, in order to honor a rape victim. Personal Pac is all about money for abortions. Terry Cosgrove opened up huge industrial cans of whup-ass on Brady, in order to get Quinn where he stands today - honoring Cosgrove's Personal PAC.

Quinn delivered to Terry Cosgrove - got him a bullet proof pension and job, signed the Religious Liberty Civil Unions door-wedge to Gay Marriage, paid off the Green crowd and paroled lots of thugs.

Quinn promised all of the laid off skilled tradesmen who went to his rally at the Plumbers Hall last November that he would fight for them. Quinn fought for Terry Cosgrove and Personal PAC and Planned Parenthood and union men and women continue to join the unemployed. I heard Pat Quinn promise the thousands of skilled tradesmen in the Plumbers Hall. I heard Pat Quinn promise. The thousands of union women and men, and this poor dim-wit writing this morning, believed his parsing promises. We went out and worked to get Quinn elected, God Help Us.

That is where a Quinn promise ends. He is a Progressive. He owes no one but the Personal PAC, Terry Cosgrove, LGBTQ activists, the harpies of Planned Parenthood, lefty lawyers, the thugs he paroles, and the tax-a-holics.

Pat Quinn is in . . .for now. He pensioned up. The rest of us? Illinois?

Pat Quinn owes no one else, least of all the Catholic Bishops of Illinois and far down from them the children in many wombs.

*Terry Cosgrove is president and CEO of Personal PAC, a group that is dedicated to electing pro-choice politcians. His confirmation passed the Illinois Senate by a vote of 30-25 Thursday, with Republicans vehemently opposed and debate getting so heated that two senators had to be separated, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

The GOP is characterizing Cosgrove's appointment as "pay-to-play" based on his PAC's support of Quinn in the recent gubernatorial election. Quinn's opponent, Republican Bill Brady, was a hard-line opponent of abortion rights, believing them wrong even in the cases of rape or incest.

Personal PAC came out very strong against Brady in the race, taking out heartbreaking ads featuring first-person narratives of rape victims who wouldn't have been allowed to seek abortions under a Brady regime. The group raised and spent over $400,000 in the race.

Brady lost very narrowly, coming up short by just under 20,000 votes. And many Republican strategists have suggested that the PPAC ads swung enough female voters in the Chicago suburbs to tilt the race toward Governor Quinn.

The GOP is understandably reluctant, then to see him given a statewide office. But as Rich Miller writes in his Chicago Sun-Times column, this hardly qualifies as "pay-to-play" by the traditional definition of the phrase:

Planned Parenthood Branch Drug Test Results

On January 20, 2009, a new day dawns for reproductive health and rights with the inauguration of President Barack Obama, who makes clear his commitment to ensuring access to comprehensive health care for women and their families. With a partner in the White House and allies in Congress, Planned Parenthood renews its efforts to help secure reproductive rights and define health care reform for the 21st century. Planned Parenthood

Q. How many Progressives does it take to change a light bulb?

A. None. Well aren't you the fool! Why change things when you can get a judge to ban them?

Well, there is drug testing in the work place. I suppose that Planned Parenthood has random, but mandatory drug tests. After all, what's Federal mandates but Choice with teeth?

Imagine this - Ariadne Carbunquel, Director of Planned Parenthood Locale calls her staff together.

" Women and Opposite Gender Staff. Last week, each of you contributed a sample of your precious but superfluous essence. These samples were sent to a lab. None of the samples tested positive for drug use of any kind, I am happy to report, but there was a most disturbing finding. ( pregnant pause) This branch has a case of Syphlis!

After a moment of sober reflection Ms. Medea Tueur-d'enfants chirped happily, "Thank Goodness! I am sick to death of Merlot."

This touching tale was redacted from musing of Houston Attorney and NFL great Eddie Burke.

Abortion Kills - Planned Parenthood Provides Abortions and Illinois Lacks Honest Reports from Planned Parenthood

I once asked a girl out on a date in the early to mid- 1970's when I lived in Kankakee, Illinois. I was a baby teacher at Bishop McNamara. The girl in question was easy on the eyes, working on a Masters Degree at University of Chicago and lived in the Lakeview neighborhood. Because she was a more than physically fetching woman and I am and remain a shallow and goatishly inclined ID-impelled male breeder, I was attracted to say the least. My better angels were awakened later in the evening.

I drove into Chicago in my 1968 reptilian green Chevy Chevelle and picked the young woman up on Sheridan Road. She worked as a volunteer at Planned Parenthood situated across from my Alma Mater Loyola University of Chicago. I took her to an Indian restaurant on Clark Street - The Bengal Lancer I believe -great tandoori chicken. Immediately conversation turned to a Woman's Right to Choose. I was against it. How could I? Easy. My uncle Larry Hickey welded shut the doors of an brand new incinerator at Cook County Hospital used solely to burn the bodies of aborted children. Cook County Board President George Dunne was pissed but he later promoted Larry "Bud" Hickey to Chief Engineer of Cook County. " They are not children; they are unwanted tissues." The girl got uglier and it was not the lighting. Few things put me off my feed, but an ugly woman tops the pile.

Prior to her grilling about Women, Choice, Patriarchy, and Tissue, I had thought that this broad resembled Faye Dunaway. My post-prandial opinion was that she was about as sexually and spiritually appealing as Bela Abzug with a cold sore.

I was never a strident Pro Lifer. Abortion is murder and no amount of Hegelian parsing and hair-splitting can make it anything else. America accepted the killing of unwanted children. That seems to have been the beginning of our problems as a people. If you can swallow a fetus, you can eat anything. Never acquired the taste myself.

Today Megan Twohey of the Chicago Tribune wrote a stone-cold sober piece on the fact that the State of Illinois is not getting reports on abortions. I do not know where Ms. Twohey stands on the issue, but she writes a clear and cold-blooded report.

Why does the information matter?

The confidential reports are "very important from both a demographic and public health viewpoint," according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which surveys abortion data collected by the states. In addition to illuminating trends in unplanned pregnancies and documenting access to abortion, the reports have helped to reveal that certain procedures carry higher risks of complications and that dangers increase exponentially as the pregnancy progresses.

In Illinois, reporting also provides an opportunity to monitor all doctors who perform abortions. Not all abortion providers are licensed as such. The Department of Public Health has licensed 14 providers as ambulatory surgical treatment or pregnancy termination specialty centers.

But licensing is different in other settings where abortions are performed, including at clinics where surgeries account for less than 50 percent of their business and at private physicians offices.

It is unclear which providers are making reports.

The New York-based Guttmacher Institute, an abortion rights research organization, conducts its own accounting across the country. Its information is widely viewed as more accurate than what is collected by state regulators because the organization makes extensive efforts to identify abortion doctors and follow up with them.

It was Guttmacher that located 37 providers in Illinois in 2008, and it is Guttmacher that has consistently counted thousands more abortions per year than the number recorded by state regulators.

A Tribune examination of the reporting data collected by the state revealed missing information.

Providers often did not specify, as required, whether a complication was a tear of the uterus or another specific problem.

In certain medical malpractice cases reviewed by the Tribune, women said they were never informed by their provider that the abortion was unsuccessful and later underwent challenging pregnancies, painful deliveries and other complications.

Others suffered anesthesia-related problems, hemorrhaging and infections, according to the suits.

The federal government also identified gaps in Illinois' abortion surveillance system, saying that more than 15 percent of reports in 2007 did not specify how far along pregnancies were and what type of procedure was used.

Jakubek said the numbers of abortion providers documented by Illinois regulators and Guttmacher are different because they use different counting methods. The research organization's tally includes hospitals, clinics and physicians' offices. Jakubek said the 26 providers identified by state regulators "only includes facilities," but declined to elaborate on her definition of facility.

The problem of underreporting isn't limited to abortion, said John Lumpkin, who left the Department of Public Health in 2003 after serving as director for 12 years. But the agency lacks the funds to address it, he said.

"Whether it's flu, food poisoning or pregnancy termination, we knew there was underreporting going on," said Lumpkin, who now directs the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Health Care Group. "The health department doesn't have the resources to follow up with every doctor's office that is reporting food poisoning or flu, nor did it have resources to follow up with every provider of pregnancy termination."

Stanley Henshaw, a Guttmacher researcher, has explored abortion reporting problems and "lax enforcement" across the country.

Some providers feared that reports would fall into the hands of anti-abortion protesters or competitors, even though breaches of confidentiality are rare.

Today, Henshaw theorizes it is the shoddiest operators who are not reporting the abortions they perform. Either they refuse to comply or are so off the radar they are unaware of the requirement.

Abortion's Dominatrices Planned Parenthood are some cold blooded parsers:

"It is useful public health information. … We'd hope all providers would comply," said Carole Brite, president of Planned Parenthood of Illinois.

At the same time, Planned Parenthood could not confirm for the Tribune whether it had reported the 2002 death of Stevenson's wife, only that it had reported the 2008 death of another patient. The organization said it had no reason to believe the 2002 death was not reported but that the records were in storage.

And Family Planning Associates said it could not confirm whether it had reported three deaths, in 1998, 1999 and 2000.

A woman who identified herself as a manager of the Women's Aid Clinic of Lincolnwood would not comment on a 2009 death.

The Tribune identified these deaths as part of its review of malpractice suits.

Providers are required to report all abortion-related deaths to the state, not just those in which the death was directly caused by abortion or those involving wrongdoing on the part of health care workers.

Megan Twohey of the Chicago Tribune may be opening a can of gore like the one spilled all over Philadelphia. This article might shed some light on the subservient elected chattel in the service of Planned Parenthood - most elected officials and nearly all Democrats.

Planned Parenthood has a history of fronting its blood letting with well-made-up and fashionable women. What they do really makes them as ugly as a bald dog playing in pile of bloody guts.

How the World Wags and We Don't Seem to Mind

Personally, I believe that the death penalty is a very good thing. It is not nice. It is good. It is good, because for ultimate crimes, there must be ultimate consequences.

I did not ask for Charlie Sheen, but there he is; nor, did I ever request Extreme Fighting, Dances with the Stars, TIVO, Cable Rates, Chris Matthews, or Larry The Cable Guy, American Historian.

The world wags because we allow it to do so.

Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan and Cook County States Attorney Anita Alvarez are trumped by Sister Prejean and Bishop Desmond Tutu, as well as every iconic columnist and mouthpiece in the media; especially Lawsuit Lotto Lawyers.

Governor Pat Quinn campaigned to overturn the Death Penalty Ban by Governor Ryan. However, Governor Pat Quinn loves the Easter Bunny. I backed Pat Quinn and hoped that he would have a successful term as Governor. Not gonna happen.

Pat Quin still hugs the Easter Bunny - Abortion is just dandy, but one must not execute a murderous louse.

I noticed a poll in the Tribune.

Death penalty decision
Should Gov. Quinn sign the bill banning the death penalty in Illinois?

Yes. The justice system is too flawed. (17 responses)

14%

Yes. Capital punishment is wrong. (21 responses)

17%

No. Some crimes and criminals deserve a death sentence. (86 responses)

69%

124 total responses

I am in the 69%, but trumped by the Easter Bunny. Well, perhaps a contemporary and hip-poet can go all Vachel Lindsey on Quinn- 'The Easter Bunny That is Forgotten' or
'The Pigeon I can't Recall' . . ."To live in mankind, far, far more * * * than
to live in a name."

Governor Something 'er Other.

Strap in Governor and get ready for the ride of you life. These next four year are not shaping up to be so hot. Ralph Martire still calls the budget and taxes; the All-Star Lefties seem to motivate your decisions. Well, that's just me. Or is it 69% of Illinois?

Planned Parenthood's Abortions R Us TV Ad is Dead On and Honest

Abortion became a Woman's Health Choice thanks to grants from the Federal Government and America's Dowager Class.

The current coat hanger ad says it all and to the target market - aging, monied, chic, single women with an unwanted child after making love to a seed spilling gent.

Abortion is the Cosmetic Holocaust. This is what a back alley looks like to Planned Parenthood's Dowagers and the kids at at MoveOn.org:

Campaign Director Kat Barr said: 'This ad is a wakeup call. If Republican proposals go through, women could once again face fear and danger when it comes to their reproductive health." Horrors! SAX 5th Ave. caparisoned dowagers forced to pay for the murder of an unwanted child out of their own kick? Merciful gravy! This ad is chock full of irony and will be pulled by Planned Parenthood ASAP. A wake up call! Abortion is cosmetic surgery for self-absorbed dowagers. We get it.

It is well past time for Planned Parenthood to fund abortions for careless dowagers without any tax subsidy.

This is Homiletics? Father Larry, Spit it out before you choke on it.

In Today's Sun Times commentary, evidence of the weak-sister priesthood that has infected my Church since the 1960's is laid out by one such clerical cupcake and presented below.

An Oak Park stiff-collar offers a thick tongue into his own cheek, Praise Jesus, in what might appear to be a satire - shades of Flecknoe here Father! Father Larry responds to hyper-feminist Catholic Carol Marin - our NBC/WTTW icon.

Carol Marin belongs to a closed-society of well educated, well-heeled Catholic women who rail against the Boys Club of the Catholic Church - Down with the Rock of Peter! Up with Barca Lounger of Pauline! Women must be priests! Why? Just because.

The nuns of whom Carol and gals speak are not the cloistered saints of the Poor Clares, but the badly dressed mannish sixty somethings driving Nissans from Hyde Park to their personal ministries - not teaching in schools, or mending the sick, but show-up jobs as community activists. Too many of these starchy women have done just a swell job of scaring off the faithful. One such local nitwit, Sister Quinn, worked to help abort babies and other was fired for advocating abortion.

I read Rev. Larry McNally's 'thought-piece' homily in the Chicago Sun Times six to seven times and can not yet make heads nor tails of it. It is as slick as mercury and should appeal to the Carol Marin crowd and yet not get the Cardinal to make a phone call to the swell rectory in Oak Park.

Here's a limp lollipop example of why Catholics have contempt for some Vatican II manicured priests:

Catholic Church 'street talk' not speaking to needs of nuns
Comments

August 10, 2010

Carol Marin's article "Church inquisition a warning to nuns" on July 25, is further evidence of the "Catholic Church street talk." And that street talk is saying that the Holy Spirit must be under lock and key in the basement of the Vatican.

How else can one explain that the Vatican would declare that on the same list, both ordination of women and pedophilia are grave sins? How else can one explain the inquisition of the religious women's lifestyle while the male hierarchy of our church allows Cardinal Law to live in the lap of luxury.?

How else can one explain that the male hierarchy of our church says we do not have enough money to care for the retirement needs of the women religious, who have dedicated their lives to the service of the Gospel (thank God for our generous, appreciative, ever-so-grateful laity who certainly do more than their part in the religious care), but then you come up with a million-plus to investigate the religious?

How else can you explain that the male hierarchy would tell the religious that they have to help pay for the costs of the investigation and then tell the women religious that the report will not be shared with them? The "Catholic Church street talk" is also saying that if the women of our church went on strike, our church would collapse. And this is so very true!

We ought to pay a king's ransom to free the desperate needed Holy Spirit.

Oops, I, like our male hierarchy, must have forgotten the King did pay the ransom by his death on the Cross.

The Rev. Larry McNally

Ascension Parish, Oak Park

"Street Talk?" This Nancy Boy Rectory Kitten would not know street if it were paved over him. Christ Almighty! Father Larry lays out asimpaticosupposition
of Carol's complaints and yet, yet . . . ever so sweetly, chides. Or does Father Larry? Hard to say, when the message is skewed so weakly.

Father Larry, what position do you take on the ordination of women? Real priests, liberal and conservative, like Father Mallette of St. Maragaret of Scotland, Father Gene Smith of St. Barnabas, Father Marty O'Donovan of Faith Hope and Charity, Father Bubbles McFarland of St. Catherine of Alexandria, Father Gallagher of Sacred Heart, or Father Tony Brankin of St. Odilo parishes speak like men. You know exactly what comes out of their mouths whether you like it not.

Is Father Larry for the Ordination of women? Is Father Larry Simpatico with feminist Pro Choice?

Spit it out, sister, before you choke on it. Man up.
