Jeanne Ives Has the Big Money Running Scared . . . and Vicious

Jeanne Ives has turned this Illinois primary season into a Ground Hog Day - everyday.

Everyday this week, the Big Money of Illinois (non of it in the possession of the middle class, or working class) has come out of the ground snarling and snapping!

  • Personal Pac's Terry Cosgrove who owned Governor Pat Quinn, the LGBTQ Libertor whose pen flourishes created genderless toilets and loving and caring lawsuits, who purchased*a judge in 2012, smeared Aurelia Pucinski in the process flooding the campaign for Illinois Supreme Court Justice with Fred Eychner's money:Terry Cosgrove, president and CEO of Personal PAC, an abortion rights political advocacy group, said Ives was appealing to “the craziest of the crazy” and displaying the “lowest form of politics.” -“She wants to make all abortions and the most commonly used from of birth control illegal in Illinois,” said Cosgrove, whose group has endorsed Pritzker in the Democratic primary. “This is an extreme right-wing position that totally ignores the reality of most people's lives.”
Remember this?

Just for fun count the reporters in the above  video now serving politicians.
  • Terry Cosgrove's Usual Angry Screamers: Brian C. Johnson, the CEO of Equality Illinois, the state's LGBTQ civil rights organization, said the group had hoped for “a higher level of discourse” from someone running for governor. "At a time when our leaders should be bringing Illinoisans together, Jeanne Ives is launching a campaign of division and rancor. We need a governor who will stand up for all Illinoisans, not someone who will target transgender Illinoisans for her personal political benefit,” Johnson said in a statement.

  • Illinois GOP Toe Assasins: Illinois Republican Party Chairman Tim Schneider released the following statement on State Representative Jeanne Ives’ recently released campaign advertisement:“There is no place in the Illinois Republican Party for rhetoric that attacks our fellow Illinoisans based on their race, gender or humanity. Representative Ives’ campaign ad does not reflect who we are as the Party of Lincoln and as proud residents of our great and diverse state. She should pull down the ad and immediately apologize to the Illinoisans who were negatively portrayed in a cowardly attempt to stoke political division.”

Power loves anonymity . . .well, sort of. Coalitions need money. Power uses money. Coalition Power fuses LGBTQ, Green Everything ( hence LGBTQ pol Deb Shore on Water Reclamation), Public Education, Election Reform, ACLU and SEIU. Remember the Democratic Party? Used to be something. Got its money from trades unions, cigar chomping saloon keepers and low-life rascals like Joe Kennedy. Thank, John Dewey; it's Progressive now.

Speaking of Old Joe Kennedy, his grandson Chris Kennedy took immediate defence of the plutocratic PACS and personalities who have strangled Illinois, “We already have enough hate and bigotry in the White House. We don’t need a governor who stands silent against Donald Trump, and we certainly don’t need a governor who echoes Donald Trump,” Kennedy said.

Already, Jeanne Ives is portrayed in a Orange Wig.  Chris Kennedy should have learned something from his recent adventures in the Progressive sandbox - there is no room for him in there with J.B. Pritzker.

Jeanne Ives is no bigot, no homophobe, no xenophobic shrill. On the contrary.

The haters are all on the side of the people who make great wealth from dividingf people and the political stooges they purchase.

Progressive Illinois politics ( GOP & Democrat) is powered by abortion and sexual preferences of any and all manner as a Civil Right , with the odd nod to freeing all of the prisoners, keeping black women on the welfare rolls and hordes of unskilled workers on the government's dime and suing anyone.
If that is the 'right side of history'  we are in the ditch created by this drive to the left.

Jeanne Ives is winning this fight.

*Candidate Mary Jane Theis — an incumbent, appointed Supreme Court justice — has attracted the most money, $1,141,385.36, and endorsements from the Democratic Party and Rahm Emanuel. But, until a recent TV ad blitz, she’s been a virtual unknown.
Opponent Aurelia Pucinski, an appellate court justice, has the least — $33,529.68, but huge name recognition.  Capital Fax Blog feed of Carol Marin

GOP is the Swamp: Save Your "Passion and Personal Integrity" Nonsense for an IRS Audit and Repeal ObamaCare

9 GOP senators Trump must watch out for

". . .  it turns out that the GOP-controlled Congress can't seem to pass any meaningful laws at all. Either they have forgotten how, or the divisions in their own increasingly radicalized caucus are proving too difficult to surmount. Whatever the explanation, thus far these GOP legislators are on track to be the least productive group since at least the Civil War.
Now, okay, technically the Ryan-McConnell 115th Congress is so far actually a bit more active than recent Congresses, if you measure by the 43 laws that President Trump has adorned with his garish signature. Obama was at 40 at this point in 2009. George W. Bush had signed even fewer midway through 2001. But sheer number is not the best way to think about how much is being achieved. As The Washington Post's Philip Bump pointed out, a majority of the bills signed by Trump thus far have been one page long, meaning many are just symbolic or ceremonial." The Week

Can't argue with that.  The GOP is and has been a country club for egos with a hoggish appetite for personal gain.  Halliburton did not invent itself. Mind you, the Democrats are far more slavishly addicted to both avarice and pomposity, but they are are loyal - psychotic, obnoxious, goofy and very loyal.

    I honor loyalty.

The GOP honors . . . honors . . .sorry nothing comes to mind.

Susan Collins, Rand Paul,  Ted Cruz, Aunt Lindsey Graham, Red-eye John McCain are but a handful of the oafish and preening goofs who care more about themselves than the State of the Nation.  These patrician wannabees smooched Caligula's rump for eight years and now want to gum up the work of draining our national swamp.

I am a Democrat.  There are many like me.  We voted for Trump, because some of us have met Barack Obama and are underwhelmed by him and know the Clintons to be almost as rotten as Dick Durbin, Rahm Emanuel and Richie Daley - almost.

We live in rogue states, like Chicago.

Obama Care is a Ponzi scam that has further enriched the pharmaceutical giants, raised Blue Cross/Blue Shield premiums and eliminated smaller insurance options for most Americans.  The creeps crow that 'more Americans are enrolled!'  Swell.  How about treated? Fewer than 1 in 5 Americans are better off. Do the math.

As a whole, Americans are not better off now than before Obamacare was enacted. It's time for a change. A change toward patient-centered reform that empowers individuals to control their health care dollars and make their own decisions.
Market-based reform would put individuals in charge of their own health care and reward value by creating consumer pressure on providers to increase quality and decrease costs. Reform should be about individual choice, not government mandates.

Not an hour goes by that some GOP Man of Conscience tries to out do the NPR ninny-hoodisms of Susan Collins, as tiresome a virago as Elizabeth Warren.

Conservative, Neo Con, Moderate, or Tea Party Republican - you are there to vote away a national disaster.

    Repeal.  Fix later

Save the bullshit for Chris Matthews, Jake Tapper and Judy Woodruff.

The GOP Blows Off Its Own Toes . . .Yet, Again!

The hedge fund guys are getting away with murder… The middle class are getting absolutely destroyed. This country won’t have a middle class soon.” — Donald Trump

"We've had people we've known our whole lives decide we're racist and white supremacist," said Suzanne Monk.

Resistance to President Donald Trump is cropping up in the most unlikeliest of places: the House GOP caucus.
At least four Republican lawmakers in the House of Representatives, some of whom have been questioned, booed and heckled at recent town halls by their constituents, publicly called for Trump to release his tax returns in order to review for any potential conflicts of interest that pose a national security risk or violate the Constitution. Salon

The tassled-loafer wing-tip of the American Political Elite ( global statists, bent upon aiding in the creation of the American Banana Republic) is worn by the folks who helped create ObamaCare - the GOP ( 'go-along' and all Oligarchs profit).

Image result for durbin and kirk
    • The likes of former U.S. Senator Marque Kirque of Illinois, who remained in U.S. Senator Dick Durbin's back pocket, in sickness and in health, for his entire senatorial tenure, comes to mind.

    • Then there are Senators McCain and Lindsey Graham, the Uncle Cyp and Aunt Sap, of Nation-building Endless Warfare.Image result for uncle cyp and aunt sap

If they are talking on CNN and MSNBC, it means that they are on the job for the elites.

Let us not forget that the GOP was always friendly to abortion, prior to Nixon.

From Nixon using abortion legislation to strategically woo Catholics to lobbyists deliberately linking family planning to abortion in the '90s, the Republican long game to court a new voter base was nothing if not effective. Today, it's almost impossible to be a pro-choice Republican running for any major political office. And across the country, state-level efforts to restrict abortion access are powering forward: in Texas, the number of abortion providers dropped from 40 to eight in a little over a year.
Though reproductive rights seem to be disappearing before our eyes, the secret Republican history of Planned Parenthood tells a different story—namely that it doesn't have to be this way, because it hasn't always been.

This toxic love affair between WASP delicacy where unwelcomed babies made manicured finger-tips touch shamed pink cheeks, so too the blush of profitable partnership with the radical Progressives (ACLU) and Neo-Cons:
Yet the triumph of neoconservatism was hardly permanent or complete. The administration so far has not adopted neocon arguments to push for regime change in North Korea and Iran. Bush has cooled on the "axis of evil" talk and has launched negotiations with the regime in North Korea. The president has also established friendlier relations with Communist China than many neocons would like, and he launched a high-profile effort to promote a "road map" for settling the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that most neocons (correctly) predicted would lead nowhere.
"Neocons Are Liberals Who Have Been Mugged by Reality"
No longer true. Original neoconservatives such as Irving Kristol, who memorably defined neocons as liberals who'd been "mugged by reality," were (and still are) in favor of welfare benefits, racial equality, and many other liberal tenets. But they were driven rightward by the excesses of the late 1960s and early 1970s, when crime was increasing in the United States, the Soviet Union was gaining ground in the Cold War, and the dominant wing of the Democratic Party was unwilling to get tough on either problem.
A few neocons, like philosopher Sidney Hook or Kristol himself, had once been Marxists or Trotskyites. Most, like former U.N. Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick, simply had been hawkish Democrats who became disenchanted with their party as it drifted further left in the 1970s. Many neocons, such as Richard Perle, originally rallied around Henry "Scoop" Jackson, a Democratic senator who led the opposition to the Nixon-Ford policy of détente with the Soviet Union. Following the 1980 election, U.S. President Ronald Reagan became the new standard bearer of the neoconservative cause.
Abortion, Civil Liberties When Acceptable to the Elite, and Nation Building are the global initiatives are meat and global warming, gay triumphalism, class and race warfare the gravy of the elitism defeated by Middle America in November 2017.

The GOP and Progressive Democrats hate Trump with equally bilious malice.

Here in Illinois, the radical Progressive Democrat Party runs everything with the help of Illionois GOP.   Had they not, Dan Proft might be our Governor.  Make no mistake. A Governor Rauner is the the twin of Mayor Rahm Emanuel.  Lindsey Graham and Dick Durbin dip from the same dish.

President Trump was not my first, or my fifth choice for President, but I have come to appreciate his genuine concern for Helot America.

The GOP is the Party that blows off its own toes, when the elites are threatened. They are threatened.

President Trump looks better to me every news cast and with each fold of the page.

Tonight's 2016 GOP Presidential Debate - Suicide is Painless

I expect tonight's GOP Presidential Candidate Debate for the 2016 Run for Office to look like the mass suicide cave scene from Clint Eastwood's brilliant Letters from Iwo Jima.

The ten candidates who made the FOX NEWS cut will have a golden opportunity to commit the Dutch Act before the largest expected audience in history.

They will not need CNN's John King, or PBS's Gwen Ifil to play gottcha; in fact, it will be a comfortable setting for the Party that always manages to blow off its own toes to self-destruct. The theme music from the 1969 movie M.A.S.H. would be a deft touch.

Donald Trump will win the debate, not because he is the best candidate, but because he is the biggest loser on the stage and all of the other in-the-tank media outlets will glory in his oafish swinishness and place the debate laurels deeply upon his Hair Club for Men noggin.

This may also be the shark that FOX News has yet to bound over.

President Bar Frack Obama - The Key To Regime Change? Be Smart Like a Democrat

GOP Candidates -Lay off the President! He's has enough enemies.

President Bar-Frack(ing)* Obama. That's the ticket. He's no Fracking Hero to the Birkenstock Leftist Tree Huggers more worried about the one tree standing in Wyoming -"Dude we must save Big John from the Gas Man's Ax Man! Fracking will kill us all,"

The GOP knows how to lose an election. Democrats know how to win. The GOP needs to tap into the ideas and inclinations of Democrats disgusted with the people around President Obama - not President Obama, much less his wife and kids. President Obama fronts for some nasty and smart people who do not like religion, people who toil and pay taxes, people who really believe that America is the greatest nation on God's green earth, people who are appalled that we as a people consider the murder of children to be a civil right and health issue. You know what many, many many of those people happen to be Democrats.

The GOP, to this Democrat anyway, is the party that blows off its own toes with the regularity of Monsoons in Asia. The Elephant in the straw kelly still wears tasseled loafers and has acute memory loss - The Plutocratic Pachyderm forgot all of the lessons learned from Ronald Reagan - a Democrat most of his life.

Respect Real, Genuine Labor, people of all Faiths and people of little or know faith, and welcome them.

In 2008, I wrote an article for Chicago Daily Observer about a John McCain campaign event in Wisconsin. McCain was introduced by a dynamic young Congressman named Paul Ryan. During the Q & A, I had an opportunity to ask about School Choice. I prefaced my remark with "I'm a Chicago Democrat . . ." The boos flowed like it was Fat Tuesday.

Senator McCain did a head toss, followed by a smile of welcome that betokened an expectant hostility from me. I explained, should not have or had to do so, that I was a fan. Senator McCain quoted chapter and verse from his Campaign website's issues page. I was underwhelmed.

While the event was billed as an open forum, with no questions barred, the crowd Thursday was clearly in McCain's corner.

The only boos came when Pat Hickey stood up and identified himself as a Chicago resident and a Democrat. He quickly noted to applause: "There are a lot of us supporting Senator McCain."

Hickey, a teacher at a private school in Chicago, asked McCain about school choice, which McCain supports.

Other questions ranged from college affordability to the appointment of Supreme Court justices. All brought familiar responses.

One woman questioned McCain on the war and its cost to the economy.

"It's succeeding," McCain said of the war. "I can look you in the eye and tell you it's succeeding."

Thursday's visit included an evening fund-raiser in Milwaukee, one of several held this week by the campaign in the days before the close of a reporting period Saturday.

McCain has languished behind Obama and Clinton in fund raising, though the national party has more in the bank than Democrats.

Money does not win an election. Political smarts and, or if absolutely necessary, basic honesty win an election. Barack Obama is President because of political smarts - he stayed on message - each day and every day. Since taking the oath

The GOP is bait. They are bait for the media, because they think that they can win them over. Not a chance. You have about as much chance of being media darling (Democrat or GOP), if you embrace the virtues of my first paragraph, as the establishment of a Knights of Columbus Charter at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, or University of Chicago.

The media revels in the mythology of Mencken. Every silly little Medill School of Journalism wants to play at being an atheist/agnostic sojourner for truth. Therefore, if it is religious it is bad - Jewish, Catholic, or Protestant Evangelical.

Therefore, Rick Santorum, or Paul Ryan or Congressman Dan Lipinski (D.Chicago) will always be treated like lepers. Bart Stupak was UP Michigan Mossback Rube until his Come to Barack Moment in 2009.

You will not get anywhere with social issues - avoid them; get in the White House.

Never apologise and never explain. Rick Santorum has created a Cuisinart of Spinning Vegetables over this past weekend, when every one else wants to know how much longer the turkey will be in the oven. Meat first! Spoon vitals to pour on!

Stick to this GOP wannabees - President Obama is a nice guy with sharply creased britches and a taste for waffles. He is surrounded by Marxist ( but don't say Marxist - why belabor the obvious) courtiers, viziers, sneaks and bootlickers who are the Obama Regime. Obama is like King Louis in the Three Musketeers. He knows not what he does. His centurions are doing the scourging and the crucifying in his name.

THEY - are killing the economy! Bar Fracking Greenies! The X-line Pipeline Kids! Check the PUMP! NO Budget! Eric Holder! Van Jones! Anna Dunn! Samantah Power! Planned Parenthood Stooge Sec. Kathleen Sebelius, Nambla's Kevin Jennings, President Obama's Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug FreeSchools at the U.S. Department of Education ... & etc.

    The Regime not the Man!

As the great Chicago Democrat James "Skinny" Sheahan once told me, " You will never win the debate over abortion, because you are on the right side. Abortion is murder. Do not get trapped explaining your convictions with 'what if your daughter were raped? What if there was a bomb attached to the baby in the womb? The abortion issue will not be won on a Campaign trail. Stay away from it. Win the war one step at a time."

Santorum needs to fire some people and hire some Democrats who are not happy with the Obama Regime. Avoid Contraception! Let Cardinal Dolan bat that one into the cheap seats. Stay on the Regime, ignore the man.

Demand a budget! Demand a look into the Justice Department! Hammer away at Media Matters! It was handed to you guys use it! Stay away from stupid - short term subjects that matter only to Maddow, Matthews and MSNBC.

Back the Commander in Chief! You have the President's back on all foreign entanglements. Don't try to get cute; you're a goddam elephant, for Crissakes.

The economy is bad. That's it. The Bar Frack Obama Regime killed the oil and gas in Canada that is going to Red China and pumps will be $5 a gallon by Memorial Day. Say no more.

    * and this from lefty goofballs ala HuffPo, Michael Moore and Crown Heights Al Sharpton:

Get this straight, humans: President Obama is a friend of the oil and gas industry. The recent denial of the permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline does not mean that Obama has changed his tune on unconventional natural gas. Obama himself has bought the industry hype that unconventional natural gas will liberate us from the “tyranny of oil.”

Ah, the poor man! Free him of this burden, November 12, 2012.

GOP Blows Off Toes Again. President Obama Played Them Like A Martin Six-String

    Chicago Tribune

Obama asked to schedule a rare joint session of Congress for a prime-time address about jobs the Wednesday after Labor Day. In a rare, if not unprecedented, rebuff in modern times, Boehner (R-Ohio) rejected the president's request and recommended the following night.

A speech next Wednesday, in which Obama wanted to unveil his plan to improve the U.S. jobs picture, would have upstaged a televised debate among Republican presidential candidates at the same time, which the White House said was a coincidence.

By Wednesday night, the president gave in.
Did he, or did he again yank down the puce golf britches of the GOP?

I get asked all the time, "How are you yet a Democrat?" It's easy; take a look at the GOP.

The Grand Old Party have tendency to turn gold into lead; cotton candy into spun glass; opportunity into disaster and victory into what they generally get.

UPDATE: I received this note from journalist attorney Dan Kelley -"You may be right on the scheduling issue and Boehner.

But what does it say about the National Democratic Party that in my adult lifetime, since I began voting in presidential elections, the Republicans have held the White House for twenty-four years out of a possible thirty-two?

Anyway, this upcoming election may very well be a watershed for the USA for good or for bad." I bow to Mr. Kelley's hiostorical sensibilities and fault my own assessment to the Illinois GOP, more than the GOP nationally.

The GOP depends upon the thoughtful folks in tasseled loafers, who occasionally stick a finger out of the sliding window over the green of the last hole of the back nine and test the mood of nation. "Another Old Fashioned on my chit, Birmingham. Birm, what's the mood about the economy in the Hood? Get a fresh glass and less ice."

Yep, the GOP will blow their toes off anytime opportunity sticks the 5PM bell at Checkered Britches CC.

Last night House Speaker Boehner, who grew up above a saloon, swept floors, and humped empties as a kid and a Democrat, allowed GOP Foursome Amnesia to allow President Obama to pull down his Patina Chinos around his two-toned golf shoes.

The President asked for a joint session of Congress to unveil his jobs plan, not Barack H. Obama, the President of the United States. That should be enough said; the President Speaks. Dignity of Office aside, Speaker Boehner walked onto the political empties shute and down among the fruit flies, and assorted green, clean and brown bottles of foreign and domestic bottom slimes.

President Obama is Chief Executive and Commander in Chief. Barack Obama got into that office through political strategy and tactics and soaring rhetoric.

If the GOP were anything like the Democratic Party, that I know, their eight candidates would have gallantly, albeit cynically, bowed to the President and graciously declined to appear at NBC/Politic Debate with Brian Williams on Sept. 7th.

As it is President Obama, after enduring a no-doubt misty-eyed John Boehner's protestations of 'No Fair! What about OUR debate on the swell NBC/POLICO Debate with Brian Williams,' seized the high ground. NBC? Politico? Gee, when I get invited to pot-luck supper run by cannibals, I generally offer, "Wish I could, but there is free gums scrapping at Old World Dental that I do not want to miss." The GOP? They step right into the pre-prandial hot tub with all the vegetables just a swimmin'!

The President played the GOP gamefully. His jobs speech might be something that is packed with soaring rhetoric and ammo for his opponents in 2012. The President will face-off against the New Orleans Saints and the Green Bay Packers instead. The over and under on that one?

The GOP candidates should have immediately and respectfully declined the NBC/POLITICO Debate in deference to the President. So what if the President's Horses and Men planned it on the same night before he went on vacation in Martha's Vineyard, he is the President and he played the GOP for the tasseled Country Club dandies that they happen to be.

When John Boehner says 'seize the high ground,' they call in the earth movers take the mountain down. While President Obama spends alot of time on the golf course, he does not get the amnesia caused by whiffing the chemicals sprayed on the greens.

President Obama will lose his audience to the NFL on Sept. 8th, but that was the plan all the time.

Yep, I'm still a registered Democrat. In time, the Party of the working man will shake of the goofs who have kidnapped the DNC, say no thanks to Planned Parenthood, see Marxists for what they are about and truly are, protect the middle class, honor all religions, end abortion and smarten up.

The GOP, it seems will remain in the 19th Hole. No wonder the Tea Party is so attractive.
