The Target of Terror is Innocence: Public Intellectuals Parse Away Innocence

What is [terrorism] ? It’s not hard to recognize; we can safely avoid postmodernist arguments about knowledge and truth. Terrorism is the deliberate killing of innocent people, at random, in order to spread fear through a whole population and force the hand of its political leaders - Michael Walzar  Just and Unjust Wars, New York 2000
We are all mediators, translators. Jacques Derrida

Terrorism is a pet topic for post-modernist philosophers, activists, academics and other idiots.

Parsing the bombing of a crowd of pre-teen teenagers in a Manchester concert venue, will begin on  CNN the second a cue is given to the soul less and dead-eyed  Fareed Zakaria, or the Joe Camel of  cable journalism, Christiane Amanpour.  They will trot out public intellectuals like Noam Chomsky, or the porky and indecipherable Michael Eric Dyson to baffle with the bullshit born of Foucault, Derrida, Camus and Benjamin and Madison Avenue'd up by the likes of David Axelrod and Tom Perez*.

Terrorists are people who have forsaken life, truth and a place on the planet, President Trump translated these nasty men and women for what they are -

“So many young, beautiful people living and enjoying their lives, murdered by evil losers in life,” Trump said, speaking alongside Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Bethlehem.
There,  was that so hard?  For eight years we listened to a President parsing nonsense.

Families anguish - one's child begs to go to her her/his big kid concert, right at that special time in life when one's identity has taken shape and needs to celebrate with friends in the shared joy of living through music.  Parents plan, purchase, park and patrol their children and friends through the secure venue's portals. Shortly, a bomb is detonated.  This is a nail bomb and meant to main and kill the young identities in the hall.

The bile and the blood rises as parents learn that all of their precautions are for naught. That was no "random" deliberate murder of chidren. That was a mutual exercise of terror.

Parents planned a joyful event in their child's life.

Someone else planned. Someone who will execute innocent children and later have this action be explained away by public intellectuals

That is terrorism. A mutual exercise by murdering losers and those who would justify  their actions.

* DNC Terrorism- " . . .Democrats will repudiate vile tactics that would do us harm. We reject Donald Trump’s vilification of Muslims. It violates the religious freedom that is the bedrock of our country and feeds into ISIS’ nefarious narrative. It also alienates people and countries who are crucial to defeating terrorism; the vast majority of Muslims believe in a future of peace and tolerance. We reject Donald Trump’s suggestion that our military should engage in war crimes, like torturing prisoners or murdering civilian family members of suspected terrorists. These tactics run counter to American principles, undermine our moral standing, cost innocent lives, and endanger Americans. We also firmly reject Donald Trump’s willingness to mire tens of thousands of our combat troops in another misguided ground war in the Middle East, which would only further embolden ISIS. There is nothing smart or strong about such an approach."

Mention Trump three times and ISIS Twice?  Jeepers. Tom.

Old Dead Eyes is Back: Fareed Zakaria's Endless War on Plain English

I like to open Real Clear Politics for my morning break Leo High School.  That fine catalog of good, bad and ugly ( usually Dana Millbank, or Joan Walsh) political essays, polls, op-eds, or reports is a national version of Chicago's own Steve Rhodes and his incomparable Beachwood Reporter; unlike Beachwood Reporter, I can never be sure if Fareed Zakaria might have another verbal abortion popped under my schnoz. RCP will do that.

Today, is no different.  It is ninety minutes to Frosh/Soph lunch and I must keep this away from tender eyes - Obama Seeks to Affirm an International Norm.  The title alone, would put the lads off their feed. Here try it and see if I can force feed myself . . . Obama seeks to affirm an international norm; Obama seeks to affirm an international norm;. . . . Come on!  Be  a Big Boy and Open Up! Obama seeks to affirm an international norm;Obama seeks to affirm an international norm;Obama seeks to affirm an international norm; Obama seeks to affirm an international norm . . .Pwaaaah! Taste like ass, to quote Sal . . .Nope.

I'm still dizzy with my inner demons screaming "WHAT THE @#$% Does that Dead-Eyed Dandy Mean?"

Nothing.  Cable news and network news went daffy for Diversity - Brits, Sons of the Desert, Heathen Chinee, Listhpers and Fareed Zakaria.

This yutz was recently canned from CNN for plagiarism.  I channel surf without his Jungle Book hissing pleonasms sesquipedlian in duration and contemptuous universal.

Elitist creeps love guys like Fareed, MSNBC's Martin Bashir and Flat-top Richard Wolf not only for the cache of tone, the contempt they hold for America.

American journalists like Chicago Tribune's John Kass make an easy and very profitable to sponsors slide to radio and television, because they speak plain English and have actually had more than one original thought in their lives.
Fareed Zakaria rehashes old Granta excerpts and idiots named Vanden Heuvel eat it up crap like this, "So, Obama’s aim is solely to affirm an international norm. To this end, he already has achieved something important. "   Think of the children, People.  Stop FZ! Stop him before he kills English again.

God willing Fareed Zakaria will do a lengthy immersed report from Mali.

Fishing Saugany Lake, Indiana with Fareed Zakaria

One thing I have learned in the last few years is there is nothing Fareed Zakaria does not know. The guy is everywhere, like a kind of unblinking and soul-less William Shatner.

Fareed Zakaria can tell you how he advises President Obama and how to pull in a string full of Smallies, Largemouth, Crappies, and Catfish from the Great Saugany Lake in La Porte County, Indiana.

Hop into Fareed's BBC - Bass Boat Central!

Hello, I am Fareed Zakaria. Today, is the first day of summer at 12:31 PM Central Standard Time and that means it's time to wet your line and drown the old nightcrawlers, if they don't come up with keepers, in Saugany Lake. First I'd like a good old Hoosier Shout out for Owen F. Smith, of Fairfield who hooked a record Smallmouth weighing in at 10 lbs. 8 oz. at Wheeler Dam on a shiny tailwate! May the draw-down in the Iraq and Afghanistan be as fruitful.

Speaking of fruitful, have you been to the Heston Bar lately? Located on 1000 North at Fail Road this Northwest Indiana icon is a never-fail stop for a Man's Fill of the finest steaks, chops and cuts of fish. I always grab a huge handful of the complimentary licorice SNAPS in the big brass bowl, because they help me back-out the meal that blocks my colon like Netanyahu and the Zionists block Mideast Peace. Believe me a Prime Rib with all the trimmings gives a four chapter session in the thunder-box. Knowledge is Power and a fine feed is the path to knowledge. Be sure to grab a handful of licorice SNAPS- two handfuls - yourself after a few toddies, a feed beyond dreams and the post-prandial red, green, white, and orange sugar coated tubes of joy.

Well I recently filled the spare bait-well in my Ranger with fresh water beauties from Saugany Lake: Follow my instructions! Now, here's my take:

Smallmouth Bass Tips for Current Conditions:Smallmouth bass are generally their most active at 69 degrees F. Baitfish are much more active in this water temperature and the smallmouth bass will be feeding aggressively throughout the day, But as the arms-control scholar Thomas Schelling once noted, two things are very expensive in international life: promises when they succeed and threats when they fail”

Largemouth Bass Tips for Current Conditions:69 degrees F. in the largemouth bass prime water temperature range and fishing should be good right now. Baitfish are much more active in this water temperature and the largemouth bass will be feeding aggressively throughout the day. This is a great time of year to be on the water. Some of these forces have gained strength because of a lack of other alternatives. For decades the Middle East has been a political desert. . . . In much of the Muslim world Islam became the language of political opposition because it was the only language that could not be censored. This pattern, of dictators using religious groups to destroy the secular opposition, has played out in virtually every Arab country.”

Crappie Tips for Current Conditions:Crappie prefer this water temperature and will be actively feeding and staying in solid patterns. which is not to pick sides but to explain what I think is happening on the ground. I can't say, 'This is my team and I'm going to root for them no matter what they do. Baitfish are more active and schooling in all parts of the lake in this water temperature.

Walleye Tips for Current Conditions:This is the water temperature of choice for walleye. They are feeding well and moving in patterns that should be fairly easy to pick up and capitalize on today. Baitfish are not at the peak of activity but they will be in good supply in the deeper water. Like I told Politico,“Occasionally, I have had the honor to talk to the president, My gut is that those conversations should be private, and they should be off the record, you know, because it helps me enormously with my work. … It’s mostly the policymaker trying to tell me how they are thinking about the world and giving me an insight into how they think.”The lake is really turning on this time of year and the fish should be biting well.

Catfish Tips for Current Conditions:“I occasionally find myself reluctant to be pulled into a world that's not mine, in the sense that I'm not a religious guy. That said, the entire catfish family is very active and actively feeding in this water temperature. All catfish including blue catfish, flathead and channel catfish will be looking for their next meal. It’s perfect time to get on the water and fill the freezer. Good luck out there. Now, hook 'em in the mouth and string 'em through the gills! Time for dozen ice-cold Old Styles with Doo-Dah at Nowhere Bar and Grill! Doo-Dah! It's payback time for Ship/Cap'n/Crew! Here Comes a real Post American World Butt Thumping Doo-Dah!

Muslim Brotherhood - Just Middle Class Guys Trying to Get By.

Thanks to the American Progressive News Media ( NPR, Public TV, NYT, NBC, CBS, ABC & etc.), my fear of the Muslim Brotherhood's designs on destroying our Zionist/Crusader/Colonialist/Satan Western Ways, belabored by years of reading about the Muslim Brotherhood in history, have been assuaged - but not entirely Assange'd. But, I'm getting there.

Mohamed Ghanem, one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, calls Egypt to stop pumping gas to Israel and prepare the Egyptian army for a war with it’s eastern neighbor.

Speaking with Iranian television station Al-Alam, Mohamed Ghanem blamed Israel for supporting Hosni Mubarak’s regime. Ghanem also said that the Egyptian police and army won’t be able to stop the Muslim Brotherhood movement.

There are doubts about the loyalty of the Egyptian army to president Mubarak. If the brotherhood takes control over Egypt, it will be very messy from the whole region.
See, that stuff seemed consistent with my reading of the history of the Muslim Brotherhood. Now, after watching on CNN that sweet robot-guy Fareed Zakaria I have learned that the Muslim Brotherhood are no more a threat than the Shriners. Fareed seems like the kind of guy that no waiter wants to spill Sanka on his Van Heusan's - dead eyes. Not only will the waiter be . . .eliminated shall we say, . . .but his entire food chain will be eliminated . . .shall we say?

Fareed's talking to a Nobel Prize Winner! Take a knee; listen up!

ZAKARIA: If there were a democratic government with Muslim Brotherhood participation, do you believe that Egypt would still be at peace with Israel?
ELBARADEI: Of course. I mean, I – again, the whole issue of peace in the Middle East is an issue which everybody – nobody wants to go to war, Fareed.

Shucks during the last few days Muslim Brotherhood sweetie-pie's have told us to chill, Dude! -

Fareed's chat was on January 31, 2011, but by today things are are just a stone-groove!

I am sure that there will be reports forthcoming like this collection of bon mots from Nobel Prize winner Mohamed ElBaradei.

"The Muslim Brotherhood, again, it's one of these bogus fictions that have been created that they are after establishing an Iran-type religious state, that they are extremists, Al Qaeda. The Muslim Brotherhood, you see them in the streets, they are religiously conservative but they are ready to work in a civil state context under a constitution which ensures equal rights and obligations."

- Wall Street Journal, February 2011

"The Muslim Brotherhood are religiously conservative, they are in no way extremists they are in no way using violence.... You have to include them in the government like evangelical groups in the US, like orthodox Jews in Jerusalem."

- ABC News, January 2011

"The Muslim Brotherhood has nothing to do with extremism... I have been reaching out to them. We need to include them."

- CNN, January 2011

We can expect to hear from academics and activists inThe Nation, Salon, Huffington Post and other leading laundries of history, explain that Egypt is really no different than Winnetka in its celebration of diverse points of view and the Muslim Brotherhood do so much good.

I can not wait until Debra Shore of the Chicago's MWRD writes a glowing eco-caveat ripe with rain barrels of plans to reverse the flow of the Nile to diminish man's footprint on Egypt's water ways and, thank Allah, that the Suez is now closed to eco-terrorists from Shell, BP, and Texaco.

Yes, sir, them Muslim Brotherhoods is Shriners in Vegas.
